So, I noticed if you do not have the craft bag, and are therefore using mats from inventory/bank... then making the Ancestor Silk "Robe/Breeches/Epaulets" writ is whereby each time you move over to the next item to craft, the item SWITCHES to CP160... every time... EVERY time.

I've lost about 1k worth of Ancestor's silk already to this... ZoS this needs addressing if possible. It doesn't happen if you have a craft bag...

    Personally I think a lot of the games UI could do with an overhaul to help with little issues that happen like this.

    I feel for you OP, this is sadly why I have had to double, triple and quadruple check when crafting now.

    If you're on PC just get the lazy writ addon and it will just craft everything for you.

    yeah... better make sure "use mimic stone" isn't checked then.

    thats one that should default to off on opening craft window.

    I thought this was an old bug that was fixed a long time ago. It came back, but only for people without a craft bag? How annoying.

    Not sure it was necessarily fixed, I think the craft bag is what solved the issue for many...

    The bug isn't fixed at all and happens also with craftbag. It happens when you switch from item requiring more mats to one requiring less. The table tries to maintain the amount by increasing level, instead of maintaining level.

    Because chest is first item and shoes next and shoes require less mats, switching from chest to shoes increase level.

    There is an option to control that behavior somewhere until Gameplay options, I believe.

    this has NEVER happened to me. i have never had crafting default to the 160 setting. and i just got my crafting bag under a week ago. lev 50 in every craft on one toon. been crafting for 2 yrs.

    aaah.. I had that bug, too. Already wondered why it's gone - must be my ESO+ sub I have since last week.
