I want to know which sets would be good to run on a non-vet PVP Mag Sorc. I'm not that high level crafter yet so findable sets preferred. What traits and mundus?

✭✭I run Julianos 5-piece and Seducer 3-piece on my MagSorc with 3-piece Destruction Mastery jewelry.
That gives me plenty of sustain, and some nice DPS boots, and does well enough that this has been my solid Gear set-up for... well, since Julianos came out with Orsinium.
Edit = My bad. Just realized you're wanting PvP use Sets. I only PvE, so... take my post for what you will.

CheepsNSalsa✭✭✭✭I do PvP in the non vet PvP campaign on my sorc. I use 5x spinner's and 5x Lich with infernal guardian monster set. It's a great setup. I regularly see kill death ratios over 10. This is essentially the build I use with a few modifications to skills. http://deltiasgaming.com/eso-magic-sorcerer-dps-build/ Scroll down to the bottom and check the PvP section. The problem with that set up is you spend 20sec of every minute with terrible sustain, and competent players will make you cry in that time. And a lot of magicka builds with shields this meta so Spinners is not that great.
A better setup is Amberplasm with any pure damage set (Burning Spellweave, Julianos or Kagrenac's Hope if you need more HP.) CC break all day and Dark Conversion for infinite Magicka.
For monster set, Pirate Skeleton to be tanky or Valkyn Skoria for more damage.Edited by Dark_Aether on March 9, 2017 6:53PM0 -

CheepsNSalsa✭✭✭✭When Magicka gets low I use dark conversion, takes maybe 10 seconds out of every minute of constant skill spamming. As long as I have a ward or two up I never die. I regularly 1v3 players in IC and cyrodiil. Although maybe I'm not fighting competent players seeing as how I only fight AD and DC.
@Dark_Aether the good part about Lich is it carries across bar swaps. You're low on Magicka so you swap bars for a split second and Lich procs. Unless you're using dw you will only get amberplasm bonus on one bar. Seems like you would be stuck on amberplasm bar waiting for your Magicka to regen or using dark conversion.Edited by CheepsNSalsa on March 9, 2017 7:24PM0 -

catalyst10e✭✭✭✭I've been encoutering more and more sorcs who run and suggest running the 5 spinners, 5 lich setup. I personally had been using 5 Julianos, 2 seducer, 1 kena and 3 willpower jewlery. It got the job done well enough. Having recently swapped the julianos for spinners, I can fairly confidently say either set up is good. so go with whichever one is easier for you to obtain."Why settle for just stabbing your foes when you can roast them alive in a gout of arcane fire?"

CheepsNSalsa✭✭✭✭@Dark_Aether correct me if I'm wrong but wouldnt the uptime of the BSW buff be spotty? Assuming you don't use blockade in PvP you only have 2 fire skills, force pulse and destro ult, right? Basically you'd be relying entirely on force pulse to proc it. Seems worse than spinner's imo. Not to mention the time it would take to farm a sharpened bsw inferno staff.0

Unless I'm mistaken monster helms only drop on vet which you can't do until level 50, at which point you'd no longer be allowed in non-vet campaigns (BWB for PS4/NA). I'm starting to think this was a case of someone confusing non-vet campaigns with non-CP campaigns.
