Auto loot = saving time that can be used to farm another node and then another and then another.
I don't auto-loot. I pick up everything and I can gather as fast as someone who does. I just like seeing what I'm getting. Particularly since my mats go straight to the crafting bag now.
I occasionally like to check owned (but not locked) containers. I don't need to go into sneak every time, I don't get a bounty just for looking, and if I like what I see I can back out, go into sneak, then steal it. I don't want to auto-steal anything and get an auto-bounty.0 -

This is why people are complaining about others just taking some of the node. You wasted time and effort for only a portion of the node.
It's really annoying. I'll typically leave the area, your bad node means you're within 10-15 minutes of the partial looter, you'll come across far less rare items.
Really wish ZoS instanced nodes or something
