If we're being perfectly objective, PC is superior to console in every way possible (other than price).
- PC hardware is many times more powerful than console hardware
- PC games can run at 144 fps
- A mouse is infinitely more precise than an analog stick
- PC users have access to a virtually limitless offering of peripherals
- Most games can be modified on the PC to enhance the user experience and/or graphics

I'm 44 and have never owned a console. I've been building my pc's for the last 20 years, so I build them for what I'm going to be using them for. I have a gaming rig and a multi media rig for streaming movies and such.
I tried playing the witcher with an xbox controller but it didnt feel right. I use a gaming mouse and keyboard so I can bind keys and actions to the mouse.

You also didn't mention how PC is more susceptible to exploits and unwanted modifications, as well as crappy ports of games. While there is cheating on console, and bad ports of games (incredibly rare), most of those things are PC-oriented.
Plus, there are a lot of client-based problems that occur on PC. Sometimes as extreme to the point that the games won't even load properly. Or worse, have conflicts with firewall settings. Causing manual configurations to be made. In some cases, the clients can be so buggy that it may cause false-bans of players. Thus causing the developers to have to go back and unban people, and offer a means of compensation in some cases. Whether it be: Cash shop items, in-game gold, a special item, etc.
Edit: I also forgot to mention the various scripts that can ruin the community of a game like macros, and things of the sort. Automated actions and what not. Bots. And so on.Edited by Ch4mpTW on March 9, 2017 2:59AM2 -

PCWith the hundreds of games I have for my computer, I just don't understand the need for consoles. I have a computer I bought in 2010. I've only added RAM and put in a new GPU because the last one died on me since then. Works just fine for pretty much every game, even ones that just came out recently like BF1, though it can get a bit sluggish once in a while.
But, if you enjoy them, good for you. PC is still the best though. :P1 -

My reasons why I will never play that on console (and why I don't have a console and won't ever have)
- addons (in the case of ESO)
- my interest in technological evolution of hard- and software. Sorry, I don't want to lose contact to up to date hard- and
software evolution.
- my interest in working with PCs and PC software in general. You know there is more as just ESO and gaming. There is
profession involving daily PC use at work and stuff like photoshop, NIFscope etc.
- gaming consoles are still a downgrade visual and performance wise in compare to my machine.
