Anyone know why my provisioning station from the Master Writ vendor doesn't work?

I got some writ credits and bought the cooking station. I put it on the beach of my home, and I tried for a couple days and it doesn't let me make provisioning recipes

The vendor blurb said it allows you to make provisioning recipes at your home, but I can't do it!

It has to be placed just right. No clipping, etc... They are very touchy!

Try moving it around till it turns green, or works in a new slightly different spot.

while you're placing it, it will be highlighted in yellow. When it has a green highlight, it means it can be interacted with. You may need to toggle the "sticky movement" so you can lift it up a bit in the editor, as it may be too far into the ground to properly be used. It also has a fairly large hitbox around the edges.

It can be especially difficult to place cooking stations outside, as even the flattest looking terrain can have enough variation in it, to bug out the cooking station. So a quick tip, if you get a Rough Block, Stone Section (or any other of the oblong stones with a flat end), stand them up vertically, then clip them into the ground so that just the very tip is showing. It creates a large enough flat area to put the cooking station onto it, yet it will still look as if the cooking station has been placed on the ground.

You also must be very careful not to place anything else too close to it yes.

Khajiit must place her chair and all of her fish at some distance from the cooking fire or it ceases to cook.

The tavern patrons are not yet ready for Bangkorai style sushi this one she fears.
