Can we get the option to turn off the hud on consoles?

Especially the crosshair, the hud in this game is not important when you just want to get lost and it kills the ability to take screenshots. Please consider it.

This has been an option since beta. You can even key bind it.

IDK about consoles but you can go into controls and bind a key to turn off UI on PC.

Gotta remove the indicators over NPC followers, pets, and group members heads as well if you are in a group. It is in nameplates

Folks....they are on Xbox one

Check their profile before responding as there are no leybind options or UI and graphic options for Xbox one to turn on/off the ui

Aside from the default in-game UI hider that does not hide group indicators and nameplates, there are also quite a few addons that completely hide those as well. A quick search in Minion should come up with what you're looking for.

I'd be content with a crosshair toggle. Getting wide angle screenshots is difficult with it constantly hovering around your character like that annoying fairy thing from Zelda.

Neither group indicators nor nameplates are part of the UI, they are rendered in 3D in-game ...

I'd love to remove my ui. The only thing I need to see on my screen is my stamina bar sometimes. If I had a choice it'd be enemy hp/% and my stam. Disabling group hp and all that junk, might clean up alot of lag also.

Fair enough. Didn't realize this wasn't an option on consoles, seems like a massive oversight not to include such a heavily used and well loved feature.

Why should you be woefully ignorant to the fact Consoles don't share the same variety of Game Settings the PC version has? OP asks question. You go, "But that's not a problem on PC...OH, OP means Consoles, duh." See how hard that was?

I think the way they've managed the UI on consoles is great... except for this!

We can turn everything off except the compass and the crosshair. It's time for them to go, ZOS!

@ZOS_RichLambert, I'm sure you can get this approved, right? I just want to be able to take some cool videos/screenshots/panoramas.

(Also put Eyevea back on the map...)

Yes. That compass has well and truly burnt into my giant plasma lol. The quest tracker has almost disappeared now. Luckily the compass is top faint to have burnt in.
