Sometimes I find loot boxes with a single item in them or rune stones with just a ta in them.

Yesterday I killed 4 mobs that were guarding two treasure chests, only to find them already unlocked and each containing one piece of crap. Just wastes my time.9 -

✭✭What's a "loot box"? Do you mean chests, regular containers, resource nodes? I used to cherry pick, leaving crawfish, worms, crawlers back before we got several inventory improvements. Also this was before I started fishing and realized how valuable worms were. I mostly stopped this after I finished all my research and didn't have dozens of trait items hogging bank space. ✭✭✭✭✭Auto loot on, crafting bag, and yes, sometimes I do run out of inventory and don't realize it. If I can get rid of something, I do, but there have been times when I ended up leaving something behind in a chest or container. It happens, and that is why they despawn after a few minutes.
Do I do it deliberately? No.

Found an opened chest on the starting island with some level 34 blue gear guess someone had full inventory.I find it quite often but I think it's a form of trolling sometimes rather than inventory management.
Auto loot saves a lot of time.Grinding just make you go in circles.

✭Normally I do not. But yesterday I was farming chest for a couple hours and noticed 1 other person who I kept seeing that was also farming chest. Someone kept leaving crap in the chest and when I finally caught him doing it I started doing the same.
After about 10 chest of doing that I start getting hate messages about leaving stuff in chest from the person who is leaving stuff in the chest. It is so aggravating when people do that. Surely leaving stuff in the chest/ node increases the spawn time. If so they are actually causing their own grinding to be less efficient.5 -
