Where do you buy flaming firelogs?

One came with my house (Cliffshade), but I haven't seen them for sale anywhere. I'm talking about a stack of logs you can put in the fireplaces, that have an animation that make them look like they're on fire.

I recently also bought Mournoth, and that doesn't come with any at all.

Thanks ahead for your answers. I've looked everywhere. :|

Now you have me curious. If you buy non flaming firelogs, how do you know they are firelogs at all?

If you're looking for a non crown store option, you can get the non lit firelogs, then just place torches in the ground under them. Hide them well enough and it will look like the logs are on fire.

They can only be bought from the crown store.

However, last night this was annoying me since I don't like forking out crowns, so I bought a rough-firewood-fireplace/ from the skywatch home furnisher and crafted myself some nord-torch-triple/

If you place the rough firewood in the fireplace and then sink the torches into the ground under the fireplace so only the flames are showing you have a pretty great looking fireplace.

Thank you to the people who said to sink torches into the ground inside the fireplace. That sounds like a great idea. :)

I watched a video that supposedly would tell people where to get flaming logs, but the entire video existed just to say "buy another house that includes flaming logs." LOL. :p

I've noticed Runagate's "helpful" link doesn't actually answer my question at all. [snip]

That's just crazy to be crown store only . I wonder if there is a crafting schem somewhere . It's freakin "fire" ZoS ! We can make fire all the time in quests by torching bodies or flame juggle ..ect . Let us light the stupid wood on fire without whipping a credit card out ... So dumb .

I learned all of them on the pts and I couldn't make flaming fire logs. I agree with you it is really annoying

Wish I'd thought about the torch thing! The flaming logs was the one thing I got from the crown store as I didn't see another option and my empty fireplace was too sad and dark.

The work arounds are buying torches , brazers , flaming oil from Cyrodiil vendor for AP and putting them in the ground but that's so lame we can't light wood on fire in eso . @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom . Common ... That's just stupid [snip]

@SydneyGrey If you read even the preview for the couple of suggestions beneath the result for your own thread you would see people suggesting putting braziers and other flaming objects beneath a bundle of logs.

    Just saying, you know.

@Koch: Did read the previews, thanks. Those answers didn't tell me where I could buy the flaming logs in the game, did they, which was my question. They merely suggested a workaround.

I've seen a few houses that use braziers. But yeah as far as I know the firelogs (that are actually on fire) are only available in the crown store.

I'm pretty put off by the fact that a lot of really basic things, like some flowers, burning firelogs, etc. are only available in the crown store, but then I guess that is the trend ZOS is making in ESO. Crown Store > Actual game.

The firelogs are 80 crowns each, or 50 cents...

Just add a torch or braizer under the firelogs for fire. Here an brazier under a 'Rough Firewood, Stack' for cheap simple looking fireplace. I wonder why no fireplace in manors? (must be really cold inside)

Even the cooking fire doesn't have flames. [snip] Oddly the imperial house in craglorn comes with a functioning fire.

I bought (with gold ~50k) the small Nord house for storage and they came with it. I just stole the logs from that house, but it's a one time deal.

The Khajiit firepit has fire, or rather embers like an hot grill, some put it inside an fireplace.
For burning logs the touches are better

firelogs are like 100g at general furnishings vendors. torches/ braziers are common from plans or achievements and traders. As for Provisioning stations you can add flames but can also stop it from functioning (some items affect badly others not at all)

You can build your own fireplace, too- with the stone blocks and bricks from most furniture vendors.

Strident Springs felt too cold without one.

@milkbox very well done but be nice to be able craft fireplaces for large castles or made available to buy too.
