The Treasure Hunter perk and general confusions.

The short question is: What precisely does the perk influence? Should I be using the perk when going on Cyrodiil treasure map runs? Will it increase the chances for motifs within those treasure chests? Does it affect treasure chests at all, or just regular 'node' chests? Would it affect chests within Wrothgar public dungeons that have a tiny chance to drop Ancient Orc motifs?

Someone help me out here, please.

Idk about motifs. I can say it works great with regular, non dolmen chests, including treasure chest maps.

What's the deal with Motifs in Cyro?

People talk about farming the T Maps so I hoarded a load, but which Motifs drop? And how's the odds? Just struggling to find the horse simulator time to get em all done!

From my use/understanding it makes standard chests count as one tier higher than they are.

I don't know how it works with chests which have set loot such as dungeon rewards, key chests etc.

Motifs that drop in Cyrodiil from treasure maps are your alliance's style. So if you're character is an Ebonheart Pact character, they will find Ebonheart Pact motif chapters.
