Can I download the base game prior to the Morrowind launch?

I've just finally decided to make the switch from PS4 to PC, and pre-purchased Morrowind Digital Edition, which comes with the base game. However I can't seem to download the base game to play it. On my account page, it says "The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Digital Edition Account Status: Pre-Purchase." Does this mean that I can't even download the base game prior to the launch of Morrowind?

✭✭✭✭✭Doesn't seem like. Would have been a better idea to download base game now and pre-order the Morrowind expansion separately. Seeing as there's still a decent amount of time, I would ask support to see if they can fix the situation or give you a refund so that you can buy the base game now.0 -
ZOS_PeterT✭✭✭If you purchase Morrowind it is considered as an preorder.
If you would like to play the base game now before Morrowind is released I suggest purchasing that now and getting Morrowind separately.
