HELP with Master Writs: What is a "set"?

I got two master writs, and one says "Set: Eyes of Mara" and the other says "Set: Alessia's Bulwark." How the heck do you do that? I have all my crafting maxed except for enchanting, but I've never seen any way to create an item in a set like this.

Please help.

These are special crafting sets with special crafting locations all over Tamriel.

Alessia’s Bulwark (5 Traits)

Locations: Malabal Tor, Chancel of Divine Entreaty; Alik’r Desert, Alezer Kotu; Eastmarch, Hammerhome

Eyes of Mara (8 Traits)

In order to unlock this set, the mages’ guild quest line needs to be completed.

Tip: You can fast travel directly to Eyevea from anywhere once the Mages' Guild quest line is complete. The Eyevea wayshrine is hidden on the Tamriel Map. It is located in the western sea and is represented by a small 3 masted ship. Hover over it, and you can view the Eyevea map and the wayshrine.

They are made at set crafting stations which are scattered across Tamriel.
Eyes of Mara can be found in Eyevea which is only accessable when finishing the mage guild quest line.
Alessia's Bulwark can be found in 3 zones (1 for each alliance) in Malabal Tor ,Alki’r Desert & Eastmarch

I've finished the Mage's Guild quests, so I can go to Eyevea.

I'm still learning about the game, as I've only been playing two months. I guess I'll attempt to do these writs tomorrow.

Just to make sure newer crafters are aware - you have to know those traits for the piece in the set you want to craft.

having six traits unlocked for swords will not let you craft a julianos staff if staff has fewer than six traits researched.

Also Don't forget to to scroll over to the actual set crafting menu. I don't know how many times Id go to make a set piece and end up crafting a normal piece because I forgot to scroll over to the set item menu.

Thanks to all of you, I finally have it figured out.

... and I'm completely unable to make either writ at the moment. LOL!

I'll be able to make the Alessia one as soon as I can research an additional trait, though.

I might be able to do the Eyes of Mara writ in a year or so.

This is why many crafters are just selling their writs. The going rate is about 4K per voucher on console, and closer to 2K per voucher on PC I think. Personally, I've make about 300K gold so far selling the writs I can't craft.
