I enjoy my nVidia Shield k1 thanks. 1080p screen, better hardware, better battery life, always latest android without bloatware (and then ability to browse the web lolol "switch"), my entire Steam library at my disposal (any PC game at my disposal for that matter) and nVidia hub steaming.
Sure it doesn't have a "joycon" (lol) but any other controller or BT mouse/keyboard works just the same - and no, I don't have to buy $70 "elite" controllers to be able to play properly, any cheap Chinese crap that works can be used (not that they're good, but I have the option to if I want. Options=Good).
Never been big on gimmicks, and Nintendo has been nothing but a gimmick corporation.
And yes, I am typing this post from my Shield k1, that's more than any Switch can do, and I can jump into ESO when I'm finished. Nothing beats a bit of heartwood farming in bed while trying to get sleepy. Only downside is, I can't read chat as doing it on a 8' screen is troublesome without constantly pinching the screen on the chat box to zoom in.
It's basically a laptop in terms of hardware as it uses the same, but compact enough to be a tablet. It's not slim and light like some tablets as it needs to pack all this power in, but I like it sturdy and solid.
