High DPS Stamblade Build Help

AMapOfTheStars
Hi everyone, I have a cp600 stamblade and I need some help with my PVE build. I want to start joining vet trial groups, but I can't seem to pass 20 - 22k single target DPS.

The first thing is that my stamblade is a dark elf (whose racial passives are obviously not meant for stamina builds), but I don't have any race/any alliance, and even so I think I can pull higher numbers. The second thing is that I use 2h/bow for PVE. I've seen more players have success with dual wield, but I'm terrible at using it and would need advice on that too, like skills to use, rotation, etc.

Current Build:
- 5x Hunding's Rage
- 2x Kra'gh
- 3x Agility Jewelry
- Maelstrom 2h (for added weapon damage)
- Master's Bow

Skills:
- 2h Bar: Rally, evil hunter (for critical boost), surprise attack, rearming trap, killer's blade // ULT: dawnbreaker
- Bow Bar: Siphoning strikes, poison injection, arrow barrage, razor caltrops, relentless focus // ULT: dawnbreaker

My weapon damage sits at about 3.8k with rally, so 4.1k with Master Bow buff, and 67% crit. About 7k physical penetration on 2h bar. I use the Thief mundus, because I don't have great base crit.

I also have a Maelstrom Bow if you have a build idea that would incorporate that.

Tips/suggestions for improvement?
Thanks!

You're a 2H stamblade that wants to do trials? May God help you.

Honestly bud, if you really want to do trials then level up a magsorc. Otherwise I think you're just wasting your time as a stamblade. Maybe when Morrowind launches we might be viable, but currently you could only get into trials if it's with a group that doesn't care about score. And if you're with a group like that there's a good chance you won't even beat the trial itself.

Are both your weapons sharpened? Anyhow dual wield is much better for dps. Your skills for dw would be rapid strikes rending slashes steal nado killers blade Merciless Resolve. bow bar endless hail poison injection rearming trap caltrops or vigor Merciless Resolve siphoning attack. You can look up @alcast builds on his website for his rotation and what not. also I would get night mother gaze in case you are the only team in grp (a place holder till you get twice fanged serpent). Not having the right race won't be a huge issue but if you want to get into competitive raiding I would reroll or respect for manila.

This is the sad truth right now. Only way to get into good groups as a stam dps is to be already established as a person that pulls high numbers and can survive.

mSorc is certainly not the only viable trial toon, but it is in a really strong spot at the moment. mDKs can certainly out parse them and mTemplars are easier out of the gate to play.

As to the OP, 2H stameblade is just not good for trial DPS. You are either going to need to go DW or grab a staff if you dont want to re-roll. mNB is actually a great class to get your feet wet in trials. At the high end of things, its hard to argue for a mNB over a mSorc (both play ranged), but they are certainly viable.

Stamblade is arguably the toughest rotation in the game.

Change that 2H, it's not good for pve dps, instead use Dual wield. Maelstrom bow is excellent for pve dps, thanks to the buff to the already borderline op volley, also you need some kind of aoe. You can either use drain power or steel tornado the main advantage of using drain power would be that you can use it in your back bar, allowing you to not have to swap out rearming trap from your main bar to put it in your back bar, and thus allowing for more dps thanks to the 3 % extra weapon damage granted by the passive, also you wouldn't have to use potions during aoe fights thanks to the fact that drain power grants major brutality, on the other hand steel tornado deals considerably more damage. Also having dawnbreaker on both bar is not good, use it only on you main damage bar, use incap strike on backbar, and use it only in execute phase to deal 20 % more execute damage. Also you need rending slashes, from the dw skilline, it's a pretty powerful dot, but you this way you will not have space for razor caltrops, But keep in mind that razor caltrops can only be applied by one person, and only one at a time, If there are 2 people using it, they won't stack, the order for caltrops is this: stam sorc, stam nb,stam dk and stam templar
