How to repair the launcher ?

Following the recent double PVP XP patch, I got:
  • an error 104 - DownloadError_NotEnoughSpace
  • the "play" button has become an "install" button, despite the game being already installed
  • still I can play the game using eso64.exe

Therefore the launcher is faulty, and I see nowhere a "repair" button.
Do you have or know the workaround ?
Do you guys have a way to repair the launcher ?

Re-installing everything to way too long (literally several days due to living far in the wild).
Many thanks for help in advance !

Sorry, no help, but can offer commiseration. I had an error after a patch, saying that a file was inaccessible, so I re-started the Launcher. No error, but the Play button wont' do anything...I have to launch from the binary. I posted a question several days ago, but no help so far. Not sure what we do when it comes time to patch.

    FYI,

    I found that: https://aide.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7444/kw/lanceur
But not easy to free 80Gig when the game is already installed...

I couldn't patch today, got the same error that caused the original problem. My theory is that there's an underlying problem between ESO and Windows such that a file gets corrupted and no longer can be changed by you, even if you're the administrator. that is what happened to me...I uninstalled, but it couldn't uninstall one of the files, and I can't delete it, even if I do the fancy command line stuff to take ownership.

I suspect that ESO isn't answering because they don't know what is causing the underlying file problem.

I'm reinstalling from scratch to a different folder to see if it fixes the issue.
