And members of EU Top PvE raiding guilds managed to get some achievements they thought they'd never get without endless hours:

Quite despicable of those EU players, if there's such a large amount of "hardcore EU pvpers" why didn't some of you band together and farm the ap farmers to prevent such an event? Surely 7 days was enough time, eh complaining about it after works better amiright?

This didn't happen on NA. And if it did, it was shut down rather fast because guilds on NA won't allow it to happen, and are far too hot-headed to let a juicy stack go unbombed :3

But what did happen was that mostly faction stuck together when taking keeps and such to ensure the tick.

There were some good fights, but a lot of the week just ended up watching the map and seeing where the next otick would be.

I don't think you've quite comprehended yet what this post was about...
The few who would try to stop the farm simply couldn't prevent it 24/7. Furthermore, flipping objectives will still be a very fast way to gain AP without double AP.

I didn't see any of this outpost farming on NA PC (maybe there was and I didn't see it). I just don't get how a whole server can outpost swap instead of actually pvp. I guess I'm just glad I'm on NA.

Every mmo i´ve played has had a difference in playerbase and behavior between EU and NA servers (for those that i´ve played on both).
EU for the most part took things to an extremer level than NA - simply because the proportion of "hardcore players" in the overall playerbase seemed higher on EU compared to NA (in a way of players wanting to achieve goals with any means they deem appropriate).

I think you underestimate the sheer amount of players there. I am not apart of any PvP raiding guilds either, so yeah I personally tried with 4 man group of friends just to bomb, but it gets old really quick, some of the hardcore PvP raids were farming too so had to contend with that too...

I mean just look at this vid, 50k AP from one bomb.. should give you an indication just how many players there were packed inside like sardines.

@Nifty2g They gotta get them achievements I guess :/

What makes you think we didn't? You weren't there so you may not understand. I have never seen worse performance than at Bleakers Haderus. Just getting into range of the outpost was a gamble as you could get kicked out of the game and have your character stuck in a crash loop for hours. Plus the fact that even when we managed to completely clean the thing, they would just wait till we leave and then start the farm again.

If ZOS had any integrity and owned up that this event was easily exploitable and overlooked. They would reset the Alliance Rank people earned based on their AP gains this week. you guys might want to consider it if you have any faith for PvP in this game instead of leaving this side of the game ruined by exploits. I personally don't worry about rank, most guys just say it's ranks and overlook it, but take a look at how willing these players are to exploit. And look at the names in some of those screenshots. Top end PvE players who go around saying they hate exploits and want to fix the game.

Good job PvE bois you did well there, just goes to show really that people exploit because they know there is no real consequence to come of it, especially with PvP.

    @ZOS_BrianWheeler @ZOS_RichLambert

If you take their AP away, take the rank away too.

    - PVP in general was faster, less laggy and again, both Azura and Trueflame were poplocked throughout all primetime and several hours before and after. Lag was not totally gone, but it was MUCH better and skills were reliable all of a sudden in Trueflame even in huge fights over outposts and keeps

I didn't find that at all.

With CP's it was either fine or laggy. when laggy, you hit a skill - and it went off - eventually.

With no-CP it constantly seemed like the game was running in slow-mo.. cooldowns juts seemed longer. activating a skill - just didn't activate most of the time. My usual timing knowing when to do the next attack, was screwed as it was always too early - so I resorted to mashing skills until I was seeing them fire - and when they did, the animations just seemed slow.. All this time, my framerate and ping were ok (not great - but not terrible either).

    I found it incredibly frustrating

I'm sorry to hear you had such issues, @Biro123 - saw you in Trueflame several times this last week and from the outside your gameplay didn't look any different.
    That bad eh?

Some of my friends had issues until they disabled their addons, but mostly they suffered low framerates, not one complained about slomo animations. But then, most of them cancel animations, I have to admit.

That was half the problem.. some stuff - noticeably hardened ward needs a small pause before you cancel it.. I usually do this with weapon-swap (I keep my wards both in the same slot in different bars).. swapping too early stops the skill from firing and this was happening an awful lot..

Also curse... I backbar it, and start off with that, ani-cancelled with a weapon-swap - and again, often it wasn't going off.. (not sure if due to me cancelling too soon - or due to the first point of stuff just not firing cos it was still on gcd.. hard to tell when in the thick of it)

btw, just had a quick half-hour blast in TF - with CP back on - and it was lovely.. Seemed to be back to the 'normal speed'.. or maybe I've just had less coffee today..?
