Hey guys, fairly new to the game, highest level toon is 40 (Kahjit NB), love the NB but a friend of mine and myself want to PVP together, and he is in the EP. So my question is what should I go with for a race in EP, also any links to good PVP/PVE builds for a stam NB would be appreciated too!

P.S. I have imperial race aswell!

The old rule was pve; kajitt
    Pvp; wood elf
Idk if that's changed hard to choose because of campaign testing
    Aussie lag is real!

I feel any stamina-based race can be used for a stamblade. If you're going to gank, khajiit or wood elf for the stealth damage bonus. Khajiit also have a crit bonus. I'm sure an orc, redguard, nord, or imperial can make a decent stamblade. Argonians maybe can too with the potion rebate passive and how NBs get ultimate from potions.
Sorcerer's pretty much been the same for years. Nerf Rush of Agony and Saints&Seducer's

That's what I was looking for, thank you!

From a pure DPS perspective go for Khajiit (pve), but Redguard is for me the to go race. The ressource management is so much easier even if you still learning the class/build and the damage gap between both is kinda small.

Well, your best choices are all in other alliances: Khajiit, Redguard, and Bosmer.

So given you want to play an EP race, I'd say break out that Imperial. Imperial is a great race for Stamina regardless (10% Stam and 12% health, plus Red Diamond adds some bonus healing), so it would be a good option in any alliance; moreso because Nord, Dunmer, and Argonian are all generally less useful than Imperial for a Stamblade.

Having said that, both Nord and Argonian wouldn't be garbage for Stamina builds - just perhaps not as ideal as Imperial.
You've played with the best... now play with the rest!

Racial optimization is a min/max concept. Unless you intend to gear you character to the teeth and participate in tougher content, your race isn't a major concern (play how you want). So, given that the "ideal" racial choices for stamblade are out of your reach, the next best thing you can do stat-wise is Imperial. Although, if you decide one day that you want to play a magblade instead, Dunmer would be the ideal selection there, so keep that in mind.

I have 10 nightblades, all but one of which are stamblades. Khajiit can do more burst damage, but I tend to need more resource management. Redguards and Bosmer but give great resource management but tend not to do quite as much dps has their feline counterparts. Imperials are also a nice generic race as they come with the additional health and stamina.

Magblades are completely different beasts and you'd go Dunmer, Breton or High Elf depending on your build.

I have to ask - Why do you have 10 nightblades? :-O

    That also piqued my curiosity
