Saturday is probably where the highest traffic is. Having been down for practically half the day, drawing any conclusions based on jeopardized data, would just be naeve...
Let's also not forget, regardless of whose fault it is that the servers went down, offering a product promotion like double AP, then not delivering during prime time play time, is just really bad customer support.0 -

they said this was a test week, all of this is server strength and server load they purposely put on the server to run tests.
they made that very clear.
to be nice to us about it they gave us Double AP in pvp.
we are owed nothing. this was just a test on the server and to try and help remove lagg and learn more about lagg in pvp.

Uh, ALOT of companies are transparent when it comes to those things. Some companies like to keep their playerbase aware of what is going on.
As for this dude yellin at people. We have no clue if it is or isn't an "outside attack" aka ddos because zos does not tell us what is going on. It could be that, it could be the hightened amount of nerds in cyrodiil overloading the servers. Could be something else. We don't know.
No, zos is not going to compensate us. No, they won't extend double ap since that was not a gift to us it was merely an extra insentive so more people would play in cyro while they are collecting data to help make cyro better.

✭✭Other...The times when there were server issues that were actually ZOS's fault, they gave us something. In this case, it seems it was an outside fiber line that had been cut and is in various steps of repair. That's why Gina has stated some people will be able to log in and others may still have issues.

Ever seen what happens when 2 poplocked factions congregate in one small outpost, doing nothing but flipping the flags back and forth while the other 200 are afk drinking beer and probs watching Netflix and return to millions of extra acquired AP?
