ZOS how do you justify charging this much for a character name change? Are you serious? At least give us one free change per toon. I went to look at it today figuring it would be like 500-700 crowns tops.

Speaking of which, I can't tell if these absurd prices are just them gouging us, or if they have devalued their paid currency so much through huge sales that they have to do if this way. Whatever it is, if it's not motivated by one extreme or another, their marketing department is just STUPID.

I've had this with many of my characters, just shrug it off and focus on the game. End of the day your character name is a very little part of it.
I went though SWTOR with my Sorcerer Tonantus which I spent hours thinking up (don't ask) and about two weeks in my friend was like "It's like Tauntaun!!! Then proceeded (to this day) yell Tauntaun at me every time he sees my character.
The pricing is probably to try and deter people from abusing the system too much my naming their character joke names of other players, scamming etc.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver
