PC NA Server down March 4th 2017

Tried switching servers, was able to get into EU but still can't get into NA.

I attempted the EU->NA trick, but it didn't work for two reasons
1: When I attempted to log in via EU it requested a code from my registered Email address, which I supplied. However it said an error occurred there and to wait a few moments. So no luck.
2: The NA servers, no matter how I attempt to log in hang for a few moments when attempting to connect to the login servers I presume, then give me the standard 200 error.

The interesting thing I noticed is that the EU client instantly closes when I exit, but the NA one takes about 10 seconds or so, and appears 'frozen' during that time.

Edit: I don't have the steam version of the game, but the one supplied by this website, if that helps clarify anything.

Still not working for me, cannot even see the announcements for NA - however I swapped to EU and announcements and login-servers worked fine.

I can log in with the .exe from the game folder, but not through Steam.

I'm not seeing the error 200 that people are talking about..

The only error I seem to be getting is that the connection to the server has timed out. It's most likely the same error, but not the same pop-up. I'm running my game through Steams desktop executable file.

Same for me.

I even ran a repair, restarted my computer, checked my firewall settings and so much more.

It is definitely on ZOS end, but not sure why many in my guild can log into NA but I cannot!?!?!?!?!

Announcements showed up for a bit and I managed to log in for my hirelings, but after logging out it's back to the same error.
(Germany, NA server, EU is working fine)

@ZOS_GinaBruno Any kind of response for this issue? Please, throw us some kind of bone! Anything! The silence over it is much worse than the not being able to log in.

I got into the EU serve but now I cant log into the NA server... YAY ZOS!

All yall that said we dont need a second server... =P

Add me to the list of people who still can't log in. I tried logging in to EU then switching back to NA, but it didn't work for me. From the log in screen it has "Could not retrieve announcements." when I have NA selected as the server, and when I try to log in I get Error 200 (7:4:178:579). When I have EU selected the announcements are fine and I can log in fine.

Yeah, to me the "Could not retrieve announcements" indicates that it's unlikely to just be an issue of everyone trying to log on at once. Maybe a DNS propagation issue? I don't know, that's not exactly an area of expertise for me.

That seems like to simplistic an answer to explain why I can't even get the announcements, and why I keep getting an "error 200" message

That is my worry (it's not my own play-time I'm worried about, it's my guild's weekend events and trader switchover that are making me anxious right now)

I'm getting the "Could not retrieve announcements" and log in failed also. So the problem is not fixed for a lot of us.

I'm back in, but performance is appalling. I'm consistently getting high ping and 1 FPS drops, even in delves, as well as major cities or overland.

I'm beginning to suspect a DDOS attack, and they're just not acknowledging it. I could be wrong. I'm not an IT guy. But a lot of us are getting the same thing. "no announcements are showing up, and ERROR 200"

Previous times when everyone has been trying to log on after an outage, I've still been able to see announcements, and have been placed in a queue once or twice, but for me it just looks as though I have NO connection to the server right now.
