How many houses do most of you own?

That would be one giant ZERO. When they serve a purpose I will get one.
Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

Housing is cute. Gives my thief/gatherer/crafter some new stuff to steal/gather/craft/sell, so that's fun.

    As for the houses themselves?

    HA

No. I don't have a house and really have no interest in them at all right now. The only time I might consider getting one is if I can get all the crafting tables and dye station. Other then that, they are utterly useless to me. If I wanted to play the Sims, I would. If I felt like logging into SecondLife, I would. :)

I think I am at that end game place where I really don't care too much about most aspects in the game other than PVP. If it will help me in PVP, I'll do it. Farm sets, run trials, pledges, harvest the F out of craglorn... Etc etc...

I am really happy for those who enjoy it though! My mom also plays ESO. I know she got one and since she really has no interest in PVP I think the housing is like end game for her. Gives her tons of new stuff to farm and do :))

I would like to get into it but im still splurging cash on gear and saving up for bag/bank space.
Once I begin having gold I'll get seriously into housing.

Excluding the beginning rooms? All of the "small" houses.

That's, what, like ten or so? I'm planning on buying them in ascending order of price, because I'm apparently strange.

Which logically means I'm going to be saving approximately forever for the three mansions.

Zero, invested in motifs instead for now not sure if i'll even bother with the houses its just like Swtor 2.0, you get all these decorated houses that only a few friends come to see every now and then not worth the time and effort twice tbh.

I probably have the most decorated / expensive houses in Swtor right now compared to the majority of the entire game and yet only like 1-2 people ever step foot in them at any time during weeks to months.

What's the point of collecting motifs when most BIS gear is only available through trials and dungeons grinding?

None. I didn't usually bother with houses even back in Skyrim, where they were actually useful. Here, I just can't justify spending gold on them when I need to be amassing gear and materials.

    One.

Daggerfall Overlook. Empty though as I'm not quite happy about the crafting writ situation, and obvious second Crown store that's only available inside the Housing Editor. Which tells why crafting is such a pain, but parting with Real money is sooo much easier...slippery even. :/

Should have made a poll. Would have been interesting to see.

Beyond the 3 quest reward apartments, I own the Cyrodilic Jungle house, the small Nord house on the west side of the Rift, and midsize Imperial house in Craglorn.

I am having a great time with them.

Exactly zero, and it will remain that way until they become useful such as the portable merchant being able to repair armor and the portable banker giving access to guild banks

Apart from the 3 free rooms, I have:

    1. Hundings Palatial
    2. Humble domicile
    3. Autums Gate
    4. Snugpod
    5. Sisters of the Sand Apartment
    6. The Skywatch apartment -what's it's name

So 6+3 gives a total of 9 houses.

    Why so many houses?

    1. I like to decorate/create - it's just something i like to do, keeps my mind busy.
    2. I'm guildmaster of a very (very) small guild of mostly casual players and I've been working hard to provide my guild members some amenities I know they otherwise won't have easy access to.
    3. I like the personal "wayshrine" system it provides - some loading screens are sometimes faster than just run to the next wayshrine (rarely do i spend gold on recalling to a wayshrine, out of principle)

I got all of them with gold.
I will furnish all of them with gold/crafted items - except for mounts and pets of course,

Of course I would like more utility added to housing. More ways to customize houses (having a way to remove/hide some structures would be a must for me - that or "virgin" land). Item/visitors cap increase (top priority for me).

But overall, I'm enjoying homestead quite a lot.

I own one so far, Humblemud. Besides the frustration of the invisible ceiling (really, you give me loft space I can't get into and you don't know you can't until you buy the house?) in the home I'm enjoying it. I have decided that right now, Humblemud will be the only home I have until something more comes along. I wish there were more homes in Rivenspire but I see DLC homes being added into Wrothgar and that. So for now it's save up money for when more homes are released and for now, decorate Humblemud and the 3 free inn rooms.

I also know storage will probably not be coming for a while, at least the storage everyone keeps crying about simply because of the craft bag + users get. Most I know sub for the perk of the craft bag and would unsub if the chests you can craft were made useable. Seeing as most are griping about gear sets taking up bag and bank space, I do see mannequins remaking a debut. Hopefully we get the posed ones in the Diamond Thimble in Abah's Landing and not the bland Skyrim ones that decide to go weeping angel on you in a moment's notice.

It would appear that there are more 'anti-housing' comments lately than anything else.

True to my word, I bought Daggerfall Manor and Gardner house yesterday, the first because I could and the second because it is right beside the master writ drop off point for DC. I'll admit that a million gold is an expensive wayshrine but what else am I going to spend all my gold on.

That takes me to 6 houses down, 33 to go.

Zero. I really like strident Springs but can't find a real reason to do it. Now if they make a set of benches that allows you to make any crafed set (with respect to the number of traits you've learned) I might. If they added a garden that grows reagents I might. If they allow storage options I might. If I can plant special trees that once a week die so I can harvest similar to a harvest map I might. If I can make a mine that once a week produces the same ore as a harvest map I might. Those last two should only be able to be done in big to large home obviously.

I have hope ZoS will add more. So I'm not sweating it. Maybe by morrowind they will add stuff. Who knows.

I may be mistaken in what you've termed for crafting staions, but you can purchase a variety of the crafting benches from Rolis Hlaalu. You would need to have the Master Writs for Rolis or buy them from someone.

The choices are Blacksmith, Clothier, Woodworking, Each of the fore mentioned in an "Attunable" [work type] Station (go to a crafting set station and copy that set to the "Attunable" * station), Potion, Enchanter, and dye stations.

You can find Rolis at your Alliance Capitols.

    Hope that helps.

Got Daggerfall Manor first, but it will sit empty for awhile until I get more furnishing materials. Bought Captain Margaux's place for quick writ and merchant/bank access, then bought Sleek Creek a few days ago because I randomly wandered inside to preview it and fell in love with that large balcony. Perfect for some peaceful outdoor crafting.

I'm seriously tempted to buy the one in Wayrest just because running from the wayshrine across the city to turn in Master Writs is annoying me. But that's a lot of money to spend on a teleport base... too bad there isn't a smaller house there.
