Finvir's Trinket is Great

Did you guys know Finvir's Trinket acquired from completing the quest in the Public dungeon Bad Man's Hollows is a great slotable item that makes it easier to spot chests and containers in delves and dungeons? It casts a pretty bright light around you. You can equip it to your Q-wheel just like any potion. It has a 15 second cool down and the brightness around you lasts pretty much the whole time so when it wears out you can recast.

    It emits a good light but i found out, that the light on the character is sometimes a bit blinding and counters the actual help in some degree.

    In my experience, Almalexias enchanted lantern is way better light source for various purposes, try it out too :)

    Do the quests for Almalexia in Mournhold, IIRC.

    Alrighty, thanks for the info. I'll have to check it out.

    I am guessing thats from an EP quest? Deshaan or Shadowfen maybe? Almalexias is there I think. I forget completely haven't done an EP quest in a million years. haha

    I use Finvir's Trinket for chests sacks and general direction pointing all the time! Before they disabled mementos in Cyrodiil it was a good way to focus groups too

    Didn't know you used to be able. Would be cool to throw mudballs at the enemy.

    @Tapio75 You weren't kidding! Almalexia's Lantern is awesome. It takes a little longer to get I think if you don't have either like on a new account for instance. Fenvir is earned in public dungeon right next to first daggerfall covenant town.

    But yeah if you do have both. Almalexia's Lantern is definitely the way to go! Thanks for sharing about it! :smiley:

    I hit people with Almalexia's every day, many times. Sometimes you see someone who deserves to glow.

    The lantern can be targeted on NPCs and other players, which is fun in crowded places!

    Yeah noticed that. It's cool targeting players and NPC mobs and regular enemy mobs with Token of Root Sunder and Smoke Bomb! Haha

    You can, just not the memento one. I dispose of my hundred of mudballs in Cyrodiil almost daily lol.
