    If they want to swing by my house en route (close to NA servers) I have mussaman curry potatoes and tilapia I can serve, but I'm wearing my ESO Launch Day hoodie and panties so fair warning has been given.

    It's definitely DDOS, ZOS just doesn't want to admit it, but why, it's not like they can do much about that so there's no fault.

    Remember the days when the first thing you would do is check your internet, game drivers pc drivers when you would have a problem with a game? At least when playing ESO you know its always server side. =p

    This would happen to me. As soon as I wake up and try to log on, it crashes into maintenance. I hope its back up soon! This game is amazing! :D

    Spent 30 minutes on a load screen, checking forum all the while. See that server is being taken offline for maintenance. Wait for kick. Nope. Finally I just killed the task. Launcher is making me think it's back up though, rotten liar.

    It doesn't make a difference if it's 1300 miles or 13 feet...if nobody is working, nothing will get done.
    We are talking about software here...access from anywhere at any time.
    The server farm should have built-in redundancies, and in that case, it is the software that is problematic.
    But you cant fix that from your smartphone, i believe.

    I hope my xp scroll, that I had roughly an hour left on it, stopped ticking away when I got kicked. Anyone know how that works?

    Typically, EXP Scrolls stop ticking when you log off... But I dont know how this crash will play out for that.
