There was someone at the Elden Root wayshrine slinging that "mudball" at everyone that came by... if I wasn't in a hurry, I would have reported him for griefing. It's one thing to do stuff like that to people you know, but to stand there at a transit station and do this continuously, that kind of childish behavior needs to be reported.

Griefing? ROFL, if you think that's griefing you haven't played an online game before. Sending flagrantly false reports could turn out bad for you though.
If you let people know it annoys you, they are going to do it more.

Hopefully one day ZoS will actually give us some sort of game mechanic to react to all the blatant homicide that goes on, but until such time it's the humble mudball. I'm thankful for them.

If you dodge then it builds ult

If someone is using the mud balls on you while you're in the Dye station, find his name and report him.
I know for certain that some people were temporarily banned by ZOS due to grieving with excessive ability use near Dye stations in the past, so this must also qualify as a "warning" cause too.
Just take a screenshot, and report him in-game.

I do know one person who was reported, Zos sent him a silly message and he did not get banned. Unless you know someone who got banned and said so then I doubt this is happening and probably something else is involved.
It would be not so bright. Zos designed the mudball memento without any CD and they ban some peeps. LOL. Would be the most absurd thing ever if they actually did banned players for using the memento as it was designed.

Repeatedly asked for ever since the first one appeared, ZOS refuse to provide this option so one has to assume they want to encourage the griefers.IronCrystal wrote: »Personally, the mudball is the only must-have memento for me as it actually can be used to generate ult outside of combat.
I think, there just needs to be a setting where people can opt-out of being effected by mementos.

Mud-ball to the face to players that are using dye stations to customize their colors => Grieving.
That's pretty clear in my book.
EDIT: typo
Griefing. I know, it shows up as a spelling error. Griefing is the act of tormenting a player with the intent of tormenting them. Grieving is the act of dealing with some traumatic event or loss. So, griefing has the goal of provoking grieving, but most of the time it only generates some salt and rage.
