I think of my character as being the same character I had in Skyrim. She must be the longest-lived human in the entire world to survive for 700 years. LOL. It also makes no sense because she's a Breton and in Skyrim she was a Nord. Maybe she's half-and-half, and immortal? LOL. I made her look the same, though, and gave her the same name. I park my character at the stables every single night, because I'm still leveling up my mount. I hate that we have to do this anew with every single character. Sigh. Before the housing patch, I imaged that she must be paying that 250 gold a day to sleep at the stables with her horse.
