Suggestion: Dropped set researching for crafting

We're getting more and more into the issue of dropped sets beating out crafted sets. Additionally it results in so many motifs completely useless. What if you could research crafted sets? Each piece should still be locked to its armor type (e.g. if it's light you can only craft it as light). This should only be allowed by a master crafter (9 traited for that piece). It should take a maximum of 7 days to research a dropped set (you already used enough time becoming 9 trait, lets be reasonable here lol).

This would allow you to craft those sets with whatever trait you want and whatever style you want. It also means they can be sold by crafters. Thoughts?

Or we could just make the crafted sets not suck, and add jewelry crafting.

Pakhet - Khajiit Dragonknight - Tank
Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS

Allow me to craft jewelry then crafted sets will be on par with dropped sets.

Although not a bad idea, I rather have dropped and crafted sets totally separate. And make crafted sets (especially the 8 and 9-trait ones) on par or better then dropped sets.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Crafted sets being better than dropped sets would just reverse the issue. No one would bother with dropped sets anymore. Being able to research then craft a dropped set keeps both relevant. I do agree jewelry crafting needs to be added.

    Why not both?

As a Master crafter I Agree. Let us research each dropped set so we may craft it in whatever motif style and trait we want.
