best sustained dps test

Best way to test sustained dps = last boss direfrost keep. I did it last night. It's fun, you get adds, aoe effect, break free, and you still got to kill it. I did it on my stam templar last night solo dps with tank. Seriously worth a try.

Why would you ever want to use regen food or engine guardian for a dps test?

    LOL :D

I'd say the best dps test is to go into vmol and dont die on bosses with good dps. Thats a true test.

I have discovered that the best way to have a sustain dps is to simply do a trade-off. You can sacrifice some of your max magicka/stamina or weapon/spell dmg for resources recovery (magicka or stamina, whatever you prefer).

In the end if you will count dps (dmg per second) it will be smaller. But if you will count dpm (dmg per minute) it will be much higher.
I know it might sound crazy but argonian potion passive makes them actually good choice for sustained dps - I have never run out of resources and I can continue to spam that one skill.... xD

btw. It is best to go for sustained dps only for PvE. For PvP you will lose too much dps.

How would damage per minute go up if it was lower by the second? Ahh that makes me cringe.
