Duchess Jog Animation

The Duchess personality is either misleading by using the word 'jog' for 'run', or the animation isn't configured to work properly. When using a keyboard & mouse the animation doesn't trigger during any type of movement, and when using a controller is only triggers for an extremely narrow band of speed. I tried three different controllers in the house, and it was the same on every one. The jog animation only appeared when walking slightly faster than normal, but was for such a narrow band of movement that it was nearly possible to maintain... considering I wanted to move my character at a crawl just to enjoy the animation.

I suggest this animation be set to 'run'. It's unable to be enjoyed due to how touchy it is, and most players will probably be buying this personality for the cutesy/femmy run replacer.

    Yep, the Duchess and Commander personalities both have this issue, not sure about the Drunkard personality though. Both personalities walk animations work, however the jog (standard movement) does not display the crown store animation.

    Looking at the Assassin personality, it seems that the walk and jog animations both work correctly, but when using Major expedition the jog animation transitioned to the sprint animation without pressing shift. once major expedition wore off though, the animation returned to normal. Seeing as you used a controller and noted a "sweet spot" where the jog animation worked, perhaps the speed zone for those jogging animations is too small, and should be widened.

    I very much hope this gets resolved, because I paid the crowns specifically for the cute run/jog as a primary element to a character, but am denied such. I love the duchess animation set, I just want it to work as advertised :D

    I don't think that's a good thing, tbh. I don't know the percentage (but I'm sure it's noticeable) of people who play with mouse and keyboard, but that fix wouldn't work for them. There's nothing wrong with having a slower "run", but I think it's sort of punishing those who want a run replacer. Cuz think about it, if you want your char to run/look a certain way and are willing to spend 5-15 dollars on animation sets, you shouldn't be forced to move slower than other players to enjoy the thing you bought.

    I would like the ability to use keys or a menu to set up variable walk/run speeds, but that seems like a diff issue from this topic. I just think they should make the "jogs" a standard "run" replacer, because it's sort of a waste how it is now.

    I too am having this issue, I purchased the personality yesterday and all the other animations associated with the personality are working fine, except the jogging animation as it was displayed on the crown store, I too tried a controller and the animation is there, but at a speed a keyboard cannot achieve (its barely faster than walking and only animates for a very brief time, up until half jog speed I would estimate and then it's the standard jog animation you have with no personality equipped), I don't play with a controller though (I only tested it as Avran suggested to see if that worked)

    I only purchased the personality for the Jog as it was really cute and I jog or use a mount to get everywhere. Im also a lowly Magicka Staff DK so I have no base movement increase to mess up the animation (As the assassin personality I used prior displays the Jog animation fine)

    I really would like this to be fixed as had I know it did not work as advertised I would not have purchased it. I also know it's a rather minor complaint compared to other bugs, but I still would like a solution.

    I'm also disappointed that Duchess jog animation isn't the basic movement. When I was buying it I thought that "jog" was their name for normal movement. Would be nice if they changed it since you can't jog with keyboard. At least my Dark Elf still looks scuck up and superior with idle animations.

    I agree, to me "run" and "sprint" are sorta the same thing. When I saw "jog" i assumed that meant regular moving (ie, not holding your sprint key).
