Because people can visit when I'm offline. So one person turns them off and then for who knows how long til I log in the whole estate is dark. And that dosent entice people into my home. Its very forested and the lights are used to lead the way. To follow a general trail to make it to all the different sights to see. Otherwise you might get a little lost and have to find your way around in the dark.

I haven't met anyone who hasn't given visitor access to all their guilds. We've actually been using our houses in my guilds for crafting, trading, auctions, shenanigans, previewing items, etc. Having to give individual permissions to everyone every time you want to do anything would be a pain in the ass.

Exactly I gave all my guild permission even sent out open invites. I want people to come over! But this stupid new method of trolling drives me crazy.

I put the light out cause its a light I want it lit up! Not cause I wanna run around every day or couple hours or couple minutes to turn them back on cause one person Couldent keep his hands off my ***.

And good luck trying to find that person. My property is so decked out and big and forested I can barley even find all the people on my estate

I think that is awesome - someone is playing with your mind.

I am not really sure why everyone you allow into your home can adjust the lights. Surely that ability should only come with decorator permissions.

Its less they are playing with my mind and more they are impacting the ambiance and setting of my home drastically for the entire time I'm offline.

PEOPLE CAN VISIT YOUR HOME WHEN YOUR OFFLINE.

So when someone turns them all off and I'm logged out for 18+ hours everyone else that comes to my home just sees a big dark property and I doubt they want to turn them all back on just to hangout at my place. So they just leave.

This issue is literally making people not check out my house. Why would they come if they have to waste time turning everything on.

Penalize your guild by denying access to your target dummies and crafting stations until the trolling stops. You don't owe anyone.

ZOS should hotfix this.

Please do not misuse the word harass.

Unless you know some person(s) has a personal grudge against you and intends to deeply dig at you by repeatedly interacting with you in a negative fashion, in which case you're free to block them and prevent them from having access to your home.

I beg to differ the line between funny / jovial trolling is more convoluted. For instance cake in front of switches and doors in MoL been doing that for about 6 months still funny to others besides myself. I even got a few volunteers, hopefully this spreads to other cake trolls. I would get a smile coming to a door with a jubilee cake makes me think, yes I made another one.

Yeah, I REALLY hate when people do this in my home too.
My primary serves as my guild's guildhall and the other day some ingrate killed every single light around the whole property. And it's a real pain to find every last light and turn it back on coz it's a lot easier to find a light when it's on than when it's off.

I'd really like a function to turn all lights on/off and lock them to on/off so I can put it right or stop people screwing with my lights with a keystroke.

Sure: it's just a game. But the annoyance and the insult is real.

There is a add on way,if you are on PC. Let them for hours switch all your lights off, just install the addon LettherebeLight and you can,with one click switch the lights back on
