Erasure✭✭✭Their personal strikes, the things they do when you're not using active abilities, will not proc it.
Active abilities technically belong to the casting Sorcerer and not the familiar, and so Volatile Familiar AoE can proc the healing.0 -
Xerton✭✭✭✭@darthsithis pets do not benefit from surge as they don not scale with spell dmg at all. They only scale with your max magicka.
They also get no bonus at all from Champion PointsCP 810+

Namarkas✭✭✭Pet's can proc things like implosion (scamp) but i think only the special ability of theirs does. Because, as was already mentioned, that one belongs to the casting sorcerer. So you scamp aoe should proc surge heals, not their light attacks though.0 -
Tethalion✭✭✭Right, thanks for clearing that up. I was mostly interested in whether the scamp's AOE ability would trigger the healing from Surge, and it seems from your answers that it does.
