Weak dps

I've found some pretty nice builds online and I'd say I've utilized them quite well as a magsorc. I am still finding myself doing close to no dps in vets and in pvp im 1 shot. Is this a gear problem or a cp problem? If so when does it get better? I'm only cp63 and using purples I'm getting through random vets.

CP and gear matters a lot; that is probably where your problem is - that and experience playing magsorc (especially in PvP where you need to keep shields up constantly or you're dead).

I'd say just keep working on those CP; once you hit 160 you will unlock the highest level of gear - then you will need to farm for specific sets, which I am sure those guides/builds also tell you where to get.

Make your priority getting to CP160. At that point you can start acquiring your endgame gear. Doing vet dungeons and getting cp60 gear isn't as productive as getting out there and grinding out the next 100 cp. I know that doesn't sound very fun, but it's worth the grind to get yourself situated at cp160. Then do norm trials, norm and vet dungeons and get the gear you need to start seeing some solid dps numbers.

Gear makes a huge difference

you do more dps when you get around 300 cp cuz of the reduce cost and elemental expert cp slots. More sustain more damage = more dps

Wear 5 Julianos and 3x willpower to start! Ilambris is good, so is grothdar for dungeons honestly lol
