I was kinda salty at first cuz that video of me was being desperate/creative, but am thankful you took the time to look at my setup, your post was incredibly helpful, and the part I quoted is what I needed most. I know the setup u use on ur bars, but the timing and order is so great to see laid out. I saw goggles as 'fewer skills' and I like how you said to see how they empower the few skills sorcs do use.

Thanks for being nice about it (I'm not a total wreck, I no-death maelstrom!), but you helped me figure out how to get my sorc to the consistent rotation I need. I succeed by random chaos, but actually thinking 'x pulses before reapplying curse' is the organization I need.

That being said,I got on the maelstrom leaderboards and did a flawless in my fastest personal time only using soul assault

Remember though, the higher you push your top end dps the more you have to sacrifice something else. Personally I like to solo a lot of things, otherwise I never get to hear the stories in these dungeons and so most of my characters are half tank and half dps, built to be tough, reasonably hitty and most importantly..... FUN

I was derping around helping some friends of mine through their first few normal dungeons, alomg with a series of random max cp player dropping in. I can solo a lot of the base game normal ones which I know the tediousee elitist mob will snear at but who cares, I'm getting good at ignoring them.

My two freinds are doing okay, few deaths, especially at the bosses but they get better and after a couple of hours we are down to maybe three deaths a dungeon and the random players would still be dropping in and out. At one point however, most of the deaths were not the new players with no sets, no cp and little knowledge, oh they died plenty of times but not as much as one random player who will hence forth be known as numb nuts.

Now numb nuts unleashed a veritable avalanche of dps, at least 50k if the add on i was using was not bugged, but would then get one shotted by random rank and file npcs, he dealt an ungodly amount of dps and never seemed to run out of juice but one mistake and pop. Then had the gaul to whine at the healer at the end of the dungeon, the reply that came back shut him up, being along the lines of, of course I'm a low level healer, it's a low level dungeon and you've got absolute minimum health... plus your glass cannon keep standing in the red poo.

So yes, you can go full glass cannon but you had better be sure you pay attention because when I'm rezing you more often than the newbies you may have gone to far down the dps rabbit hole

DPS is all fun and games, but pushing that boundary just makes you a wet tissue. If any boss so much as sneezes, you break. I have seen that far too often as a healer, they use DPS as their crutch, without bothering about mechanics. As such, they make alot of the mistakes you mention.

But yeah mew and integral I've seen many dps who can burn bloodspawn get wiped within two minutes of the trial starting lol.

Interesting point^ dead = 0 dps and warding forever = like 1,000 lol. Balance my friends.
