What should I do with a magplar? (also farming advice because this is taking forever)

Getting sharpened weapons is, obviously, going to take work. And unfortunately I play fulltime so right now, at work with nothing much to do, I'm just sitting here thinking about whether it's worth just farming the gold to buy it or farming to get the weapons. Right now I'm between BSW and Mother's Sorrow, and while I know BSW is probably better, I'm not sure I want to use it via rings/weapons, since I want it to be as good as possible. I also don't know if it's as consistently good as Julianos. So yeah, I'm conflicted lol.
Basically I can farm the armor or craft Julianos, so that's not the hard part. The weapons are. I'm not sure if there's an easier way to rotate for weapons, and for that matter, I don't know if it's worth putting a full week's effort into mother's sorrow weapons. Are there any better options? Is there a better method? Is there an alternative that's cheaper or easier to find? Any advice would be appreciated

EldritchPenguin✭✭✭✭✭I use 2 Grothdarr, 5 BSW (3 jewelry 2 body), and 5 Julianos (3 body and 2 weapons). It's definitely a setup that's really easy to find, and while 5 Julianos isn't quite as strong as 5 Moondancer, it'll get you pretty far.Lilelle Adlis - Dark Elf Dragonknight

My fear was that my backbar would suffer with initial damage without the full Julianos set applied. 5 moondancer is something that will happen likely in the far, far future. I've done a few vet trials as a dps but nothing so consistent where I have an organized raid group where I'm not a fill lol. I was thinking the crit chance on mother's sorrow would be great to have, but idk if bsw would outperform it if I only had like 50% crit chance.0 -

After the Major/Minor Force nerfs, it's not really worthwhile to stack more than about 60% crit chance, which is pretty easily attainable with BSW and Julianos. BSW will definitely be more DPS than Mother's Sorrow, as long as you're using Fire Blockade and Grothdarr on your Magplar.datgladiatah wrote: »Craft 2 sharpened julianos swords?
