[BUG?] None of the chairs that I place in my house become interactable to sit on.

Hi,

Is anyone else finding this?

I place a chair in my house, and no matter how I place it (allign it up etc, to within decent distance from a table etc) It never has a prompt to sit down on it. Doing it just like I did on PTS, worked fine in PTS.

If it helps it is the Domus Phrasticus house in Craglorn.

Who chair? I only bought the 100 gold one and it works well.

Bought a couple of the Imperial ones from the crown store, it says sittable, and it ain't.

You need to make sure they are on a correct surface and not floating or inside walls/floors. Same for every interactable. Make sure you right-click to properly align it with the surface.

Go into the editor and pick up and place the chair.
if it glows green in the editor, it is sittable where you placed it - once you leave the editor.

you can put it down in ways where it wont be sittable after editing but it wont glow green in edit when placed.

have placed chairs in my places - sit just fine - just did have to watch it near borders.

Aha may have found the problem. No matter where I'm placing it, even in the middle of a floor with nothing around it, it's not glowing green.

It might be slightly out of position. Make sure you're setting the editor to snap to surfaces, and use right click to straighten the chair against the floor.

yes right click to drop to floor.

Yeah surface drag on, always making sure to align it, and still always yellow

Very good point I had some pets and plants floating after placing them.

Very good point I had some pets and plants floating after placing them.

Definitely always clicking right to align etc

Definitely not clipping into walls or other things like tables

In the middle of the floor

Press right to align

Still yellow

this is very odd

I have same bug with Domus Phrasticus house in Craglorn.
the inside of the House won't let you line up chairs ( green ) but they work in the front yard.

It's as if the intera decorater section of inside the House is not inline to use chairs or it's a frame work issues with the inside of the house it's self.

I have this problem on the top floor of Mournoth Keep, but not on the main floor.

Can even take the same chair, put it downstairs, and it works fine.

I found i couldnt sit in a few of mine, but then I realized i was in editor mode lol. Make sure its on a surface and you arent in editor mode.

Hmm, I found a way to do it.
Go to a spot that has the item green: make sure you are in surface drag mode > put item away > end edit mode > go to the spot you want the item/ go back into edit mode > look at the spot where you want it > place the item and boom it should work.
