So I'm getting together gear and such for my future warden character prior to morrowind releasing, and the playstyle/build I'm aiming for is a hybrid tank with 1h/shield and frost staff, all heavy armor.

I've been collecting the black rose set to that end, but I'm curious what other sets pair best with it. I've got black rose helm, shoulders, belt, gloves, and boots, so that leaves chest, legs, rings, amulet, and weapons open.

I thought about trainee, since it gives a nice boost to all stats, or dreugh king slayer for the major brutality bonus. There's also footman for block amount or vampire cloak for the 8% reduced damage taken. Any ideas?

Pakhet - Khajiit Dragonknight - Tank
Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS
Bastet - Khajiit Templar - Healer

Really depends on what you want to do. To the best of my knowledge BR has been used for tanks and PVP. I still like it for PvP even after the changes, actually enjoying he extra mag, but I think most people have long since moved on from it for any kind of Tank use. It's mostly going to depend on what role you're playing. Although for PvE at this point, I think it's not a very popular set.

I tend to Solo more than anything but I do want to be able to tank at least all the basic and vet dungeons. I don't pvp very often but on occasion, I'd probably pvp more with a character that could stay alive more than a few seconds

I rock the black rose and dreugh king slayer set, along with a monster helm...I also use tri-stat drinks...

most definitely not an "optimal" setup...it's fun though cuz you're buff is always on and your regen is helped alot with the rose...so, it's kinda "easy" mode - plus, what's not to love about wearing 7 heavy...anywhere in tamriel :)

work's really well when transforming to werewolf...

Do the set bonuses keep functioning when in werewolf mode? That'd be perfect.

If only I could find the right dreugh king pieces, there's no jewelry for that set is there?

sure is some jewelry, I put increase physical harm glyphs on mine...it's in there with vipers inside fungal grotto...

be careful though telling friends what you're wearing- they may start laughing :p

actually, if you have heavy pockets full of gold - dreugh king is one of those sets that used to be bind on equip...you can still find it sometimes in guild stores...

Edit: ugh, I was just reading a thread about this a while back...I do believe though that the set bonus' all work...plus, been a long time - but, I remember wearing ashen grip and spitting fire as a werewolf...
