Just curious what dps and time is considered vMol ready. What are great dps numbers?

I feel like mine are low as my friend got 32k, but I'm not sure which skeleton he used. On the 6mil I've bested with 4:59 and ~26k.

But I've done all vet trials on hard mode, am flawless conqueror, and generally burn things in this game. Why are my numbers low/what should they be?

I'm using 5 bsw 2 ilambris 3 infal maelstrom staff random staff. Rotation is the usual wall liquid weave curse frag repeat ulti etc.

    Ok that's a good target- it's pretty darn high haha. Self buff meaning no spell power or else drain from someone else?

    And 6mil is so hard to get above 30k idk why. Without pet I can't get to 32...should I use willpower instead of infal for the test?

    People are saying 40-45k with pets on 6mil...idk if that's right. 3 mil maybe...

    So normal bis gear and real rotation, is ~28k on 6mil in <5 minutes 'good' dps?

    I was getting 34.5k self buffed last patch on Bloodspawn (which sucks). Haven't tested mine this patch yet.
    Self buffed means only your buffs, so your potion on a sorc basically. The only external buffs you get is taunt/drain and orbs. No SPC, no Combat prayer, no Warhorn, etc.
    Ideally Moondancer. Infal is fine though, there's barely any difference. Don't even think of Willpower lol. Don't change gear for your DPS check.
    Check YoloWizards build on Tamriel Foundry, it will give you an idea of the rota with pets etc. He did 54k buffed on the dummy which is huge compared to what mag sorcs were doing last patch in single target.

    45k on the 6mil... Either you have buffs or you don't screw up the rota in the slightest. I doubt anyone actually reached that. On the 6mil if you're over 40k you're doing great

    28k is very slow :/ over 30k you have enough DPS, over 35k you have good DPS. Anything above that is great

    My maelstrom staff is nirnhoned maybe that is part of it.

    Ok imma get there going to hit it up now. One infal piece is recovery that'll help too if I switch to spell damage

    I have other toons too and I always set the border there :D that build just happens to be the most effective I came up with

    Hello

    Could you share your bar skills and rotation to reach 35-40k+ Solo self buffed? I guess it is with maelstrom

    Idk how these people are doing that with self buffs, because I have tried for hours to play with gear and skills and cp and can't break 30k.

    My honest feeling is that the robust skeleton with no puncture has 2x the health of the blood spawn test of old, so if I can dps 2x the health less than the time he takes to collapse the room with only pots, than I'm ok. I just can't believe magsorcs are getting 45k it's unreal. I tried necropentance but still averaged the same in the end.

    On a 6 Millions, Skeleton, 26k is low ? considering you'll run low on magicka at some point right ? I hit nearly 40k on the 3 millions one buffless... but on the 6 Millions one... not sure that won't be way lower... Yolo had tons of buff one on his run...

    Curse, CF, Fp, Pet, and Bound Aegis, // Wall of Storm, Liquid Lighting, Pet, Bound Aegis, Ele Drain,

    Not sure whether I was running 2 shooting start or 1 + destro ult...

    I medium weave. I sacrifice ele drain for entropy as I get damage and an empower.

    Hmm blue cp? I have 80ish in elemental expert, 60ish in elfborn, like ten in pen, and the rest in thaumaturge

    Wow... Not gonna lie, your skill setup and your rotation is a real mess man... No wonder you're struggling to get more DPS.

    Skill bars:
    Destro 1:
    - frags
    - force pulse
    - curse
    - aegis
    - scamp
    - Shooting Star

    Destro 2:
    - liquid lightning
    - mage's wrath
    - fire blockade
    - aegis
    - scamp
    - Fiery rage

    My rotation:
    Step 1: Curse > Meteor > swap > Liquid > Blockade > swap > Scamp > Force Pulse/frags x6 > swap >
    Step 2: Liquid > blockade > swap > scamp > Curse > force pulse/frags x5 > swap
    Step 3: liquid > blockade > swap > scamp > force pulse/frags x4 > restart (replace Meteor with force pulse or frags)

    Light attack weave between every skill. This is a pretty hard rotation but it ensures max uptime on all DoTs. In execute phase i stay on my back bar and just go LL > WoE > Scamp > mage's wrath x 6. I'm still testing stuff for sorc though so this rota is subject to change.

    An easier rotation to start out on is:
    Curse > swap > liquid > blockade > swap > scamp > force pulse/frags x8 > restart
    I reccomend you use it til you get comfortable with it

    Never use Soul Assault please, its terrible. Also potions for Sorcery and Prophecy buffs, not entropy or surge. Remember, you're a sorc, you have toggles, use them to boost stats. you don't need many skills to reach high dps.

    Yes 26k is low, you should not be running out of magicka either. If you can get to 40k on the 3mil one, you should be close on the 6mil one (like very close give or take 1k). At least imo. If you see huge fluctuations means you have to work more

    Of course not. I had ele drain and was popping blue orbs from time to time too.
