Will the PS4 Pro or XBox One Scorpio ESO versions ever run at 60 FPS? Right now console versions run at 30 FPS.

Probably not. They'll get close to it, but you'll most likely be better off sticking with the PC version.

    No

This was already confirmed because the game offer competitiveness through PvP and through leaderboards.

That would intentionally create advantage and disadvantages. The consoles themselves suggest parity other than graphical fidelity updates

I mean the PS4 Pro is still a PS4 but the Scorpio is a new generation - we don't even know if the Scorpio will get an ESO version or if ESO won't be playable on the Scorpio...

It's not a new generation. It's an Xbox one with a significant hardware update/upgrade. The system won't have Xbox Scorpio exclusives. Every game play plays on the Xbox one will play on the Scorpio. I just hope ZOS offer a 4K option with very high vid sliders

Didn't they say the Scorpio is (or something like that) 5 times “faster“ than the One? I can't imagine how usual XOne games should be playable on the Scorpio unless they keep the “outdated“ One-versions of each and every game. The Scorpio might be great for new games but for older games... I don't know if anything will change.

Or just find a new/better game to play.

As much as I hate to say it, 60fps will never be a common thing on consoles. If it bothers you that much then get a pc.

Before the champion updates, ESO was running flawlessly on xbox one even in pvp in a somewhat stable 30 fps at 1080p. Now with all the updates copy/pasted from the PC it tends to run like garbage (even quest marks make the game stutter) but devs dont seem to care if its not directly affecting the crown store. Zenimax confirmed they will do an upgrade for Scorpio just like they did for ps4 pro. Scorpio will be able to easily run ESO in 4k 60fps because XO, a few times weaker machine can hit a stable 30/1080pr. The thing is, they will probably stick to 30fps to not give too much of an advantage to Scorpio users as console gaming is all about equal chances unlike on the pc. As for me, if they will not upgrade the framerate to 60 on Scorpio, I will simply leave ESO and focus on the games that will utilize at least some of its power (not through 4k, I dont care about that).

A thing to note - ESO on ps4 pro have problems keeping 30 fps even in PVE part of the game. It's common with PS4 pro though to have worse performance than ps4 as it sacrifices a lot just to pump out that 4k or semi 4k. I wish debs would focus on framerate and additional eye candies in 1080p.

I wish you had the ability to toggle CP on and off... sort of like in Borderlands 2

It's the same as the ps4 pro, to make proper use of the new power games will need to be patched.

Yes, Scorpio is like PS4+ but stronger and probably more expensive.
Now 60Hz would be an nice idea outside of cyrodil, 30 inside because because of the lag spikes because of large fights.
A more powerful system would anyway be an benefit because of less lag because of graphic performance.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    @zaria

It's not really like the PS4 pro at all.

What I mean is the new Xbox won't even use esram, it's not using the ddr3 either and has another dynamic win10 mode and stuff.

It's getting interesting but as the release info leaks, it's unlike what Sony did with their Pro. I honestly don't know if this is a good thing but we won't know until we play with it.

The devs are all saying that it's nothing like the Xbox one. So much so that they'd prefer just to develop on it but Xbox is forcing esram and original Xbox one design comparability.

I foresee this creating issues for some developers.
