Morrowind - Why is the expansion "upgrade" priced higher than the base game?
Hi,
I'm wondering why the Morrowind expansion 'Upgrade' is priced more than the base game is?
Right now the base game for ESO is $44.95 AUD via the ESO store, while the digital upgrade edition (normal, not CE) is priced at $59.95 AUD - so the expansion is $15 more expensive than the base game!
Check the spoiler for image showing prices I see on ESO's store page.
Frankly, this does likely mean I'll be playing Morrowind ~6+ months after it launch's, when it finally goes on sale to a more reasonable price. Yes that makes me sad to miss out, but I'm not going to pay more for an expansion that offer's less than the base game.
I'm wondering - what's the prices for the base game & Morrowind 'upgrade' edition for other countries? Is the pricing similar (ie with the expansion costing more) or the other way around (ie expansion costing less)?
