What's the deal with zergs at towns now?

Towns used to be a fun place where small scale PVP happens, but since the update the towns have been zerg-central (Xbox).

Well, first of - better ticks and rewards. More players want in on the sweet AP, and many of them don't know how to play and are pretty certain by now that they will die in equal numbers or sponsor yet another 1vX video. As such they come en masse to make sure they capture the town and get the reward.

That or the in-game population has simply increased. Or a combination of both.

e: also the decrease of the cost of town item boxes (morag tong, ravager, desert rose). While desert rose has been nerfed, ravager and morag tong still sell for a lot, making more people eager to speculate on them.

Pretty much, you get a few bad players getting tired of losing to better players. So they bring more friends until they win.

To deal with it, you just move on and farm elsewhere while the zerglings enjoy their empty glory.

Usually it means something must be exploitable there now that was not there in the past, the smallest thing in this game will be over abused by certain groups seeking easy AP, exp or what ever they can squeeze dry.

    Same goes for imperial city

Because common players are trash, will happily Xv1 you then tbag you when their name wasn't even on your death recap.
