Why is it so damned hard to understand that the stamina sorc i have is perfect for me, it can solo anything and do anything PVE so stop telling me my working character is bad. I will not change it and i will never go to theorycrafting sites to copy other peoples builds, i try and try until i get what feels good and fits my character, i dont need anything else and i am not asking any advice for stam sorc anyway so stop helping that one :D

You people also seem to fsiled reading all, stamsorcs main weapon is 2 haner for normal combat, lightning staff is only for soloing bosses and it does that perfectly, even world bosses die on that given some time to wear them down slowly.

i was asking help for magsorc to make it feel better and i got my needed pointers to that and i will try and change them tpo fit my character.

Bro I do not think anyone is saying that but even lightning passives alone will keep your dps way to low if your going stam, a bow is far superior for ranged then a lightning staff for you, have you even tried bow on your stam sorc? Your also forgetting synergy is very important in a stamsorc, for example your crit surge heals you when you crit, bow will help with this allot from a distance to keep you alive in the first place.

I agree that 2h is really good for solo, it can help in dungeons to, but dual wield and bow fits better for more situations because a stamsorc is based on doing sustain, unless your in pvp where 2h is king. I think even with a bow the stamsorc still feels like a battlemage, I would love to be able to cast some lightning to but sadly it just does not work well.

CC is one of the least valuable abilities in late game PVE. Focus on damage dealing/shields/self heals/mobility and movement instead if you are playing solo. You should get used to moving/roll dodging at key moments to avoid red circles and damage cones.

Yep, but you're going to need to deal melee damage as backup.

You're trying hard to be helpful which is nice, however you are obviously a new player yourself and almost all your advice is terrible. Mixing stam and magicka is very bad idea in ESO. Sorcs are not all about DOTs, they can do effective single target burst damage as well.

Non pet pure magicka sorcs are an extremely powerful, easy and effective dps build. I suggest OP check out some of the magsorc builds by Streak One or Andy S for examples, at least of the skill bars as some of the equipment they use is end game stuff. Basically any VMA style build is going to be ideal for solo play.
