Yesterday, I spend over 150k gold just on buying furnishing for my house.
I really enjoy decorating my home, so I do not mind spending a little over budget
How much have you spend (in gold) on decorating your home?

I'm still a salty pile of salt because I can't furnish my home 1 day >:(
This Khajiit is doing things the slow way of scraping together all the parts it needs for its house ... still needs to find where the keys have been hidden also and hope previous owner does not come looking what is going on.

Easily more than 200 K. But I'm okay with that, I knew things were going to be expensive at launch, but don't mind paying for those things I really want in my home (to an extent).
I bought 2 crafting stations with writ vouchers, but I wont't spend gold in decorating. Like a fellow Khajiit above, my crafter will build her own things eventually, from dropped recipes, with dropped materials... slowly.
None so far, I don't even have the house I want yet. (Well, none except the cost of 3 small tables and stools which I bought to complete the inn room chests.)
I'm currently collecting furniture plans and materials and planning to craft as much as I can, and I've found a few items as well (a fish, personal letter and an ink well). At some point I will start looking to buy furniture I can't craft myself, but not until the prices have dropped a bit and I've got the house and decided what's missing.

Probably spent 700k so far But I knew this would happen. I wanted a crystal garden and I achieved that! I specifically saved up gold just for housing because I knew that I'd need so much from the achievement merchants. I spent probably 10k last night just buying food items from guild traders to place on my banquet table
There is no option for spending just the 100 gp to complete the quest... I did spend crowns for the Rawl'ka house and a skelly tho... the skelly is the only reason I wanted a house anyway...
I offset what I spend to decorate the house I'm working on by selling other things, though. I like to see if I can make a profit on something before I pull the listing and put it in my house.
Happy All the Holidays To You and Yours!
Remembering better days of less RNG in all the things.
I've crafted pretty much everything myself, and only spent gold on trees from merchants and achievement items, not sure exactly how much, but 99% of both of my houses are furnished with stuff I crafted myself, from plans I found, and materials I farmed myself
I've spent pretty much nothing other than the gold for my houses, which was around 550k or so I suppose, but I have made over 1 million gold in the last week, selling crafted furniture and gold tempers seeing as I had an insane amount of them due to excessive farming for materials... So this update has been more of a money maker for me than anything

I voted none as it's the closest to what I've spent on furnishings, which is about 200 gold probably. As I have neither the the gold to buy an unfurnished house nor the time or gold to fit it out from scratch I've bought a furnished house with my subscription crowns - which is a great option - and I'll complement the existing content as I learn the patterns etc and craft my own stuff.
Ahhh, I made a mistake... Pressed 'None' and then remembered I had bought some achievement-connected things... And a simple table and stool. But all the rest is what I find or learn to craft!
I've spent I think 500 gold or so buying plans from crafter NPCs? Everything else has been crafted or found.
Ooh, unless you count laundered items. I've found four skulls that launder at about 500 each, plus various other bits of clutter, so the number is actually probably closer to 3k.

None. I gave up on my plans to furnish a house as soon as I saw what a money pit housing was and how much it cost for things that serve no purpose. Ill save my gold for useful things like gear and materials.
So far only making money - I sell blueprints I have and about every painting so far.
I also made som stuff and put it up for sale but nothing special so far.
It was pretty obvious that you needed to grind from the droprate of mats so that is what I'm gonna do for some time. Just like Minecraft I like to have plenty of mats before I start building.... I hate farming breaks when I go creative
My "none" is outside of the required purchase when doing the quest to get the "free" house. Actually, the place cost me 100 gold.
Would've been free if you'd joined the Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood. They give you special dialogue options to skip the bribe.
