Redguard Bookcase, full: Is this actually craftable?

So, since Homestead Launch I've been dutifully doing my crafting writs, buying crafting writs, et cetera. All dumped into the Hlaalu gamble for purple recipes(which were mostly sold to buy MORE crafting writs). I'm looking for a specific blueprint, the full redguard bookcase. I've seen 3rd party sites like ESO fashion state that it is craftable, but I've yet to see it, either from the Hlaalu recipes or in the guild stores.

Am I just unlucky, or was this removed from craftable items?

I'd love to know, you cant even find finished ones for sale. Anyone who has this plan and isn't getting their whole guild to just assembly line them is a pillock. You could slap any price tag you felt like and it would sell. Quarter of a million each, no problem, I'd pay that no questions asked :)

I think part of it is not just the rarity of certain plans but also their desirability. So if it's super-rare and people actually want it they get learned as opposed to sitting in the guild traders.

It took a friend of mine something like 2 weeks to find an argonian bed that's actually a bed you can lie on. It's not even fancy. It's that the green version is some crappy bedroll or something like that. It took friends keeping an eye out before finally being found. That's likely the issue. I'll check in-game to see if I can find one among my friends PC/NA.

I have it. It is very pretty. I have tried to sell crafted items of it on guild store. Just like all my other pretties, it doesn't sell worth my time to make them. I have had good success trading them for other crafted items that I want though.
I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.

So, I've finally found some that are finished in one of the guild traders. Asked the person who put them up, and yes, the recipe does exist. Just, as mentioned, incredibly rare. Like unicorn-level rare.

I've been looking for one of the fancier Redguard beds. I'm guessing it's at least a blue recipe, if not purple. It sure isn't a green one. I got a "green" version, and it was disappointingly plain ... not the one I'm looking for. I've never seen it in the game so far as either a blueprint or being sold, either.

I've actually found a couple redguard beds - the fancy ones are purple and still fetch a decent amount of gold.

@Brutusmax1mus - That's not how you get designs unfortunately. Most can be found in containers(backpacks, cupboards, crates) while most of the purple ones can be found in the Hlaalu gamble: Basically you complete sealed master crafting writs, then purchase the Hlaalu random design for 10 writs each. What you get is up to chance. I've opened over 200 by now still haven't gotten said bookcase.

For those curious, I got the redgaurd bookcase full blueprint in the lobby in Aetherian Archive. I also got Redgaurd wardrobe there on a different day. The cases there are pretty good for crafting and provisioning recipes. Where you look does somewhat matter as I have noticed that housing recipes from a particular race are far more likely to drop in zones of that race. For instance, when thieving in Rawl, a common activity for me, I get more Kajit recipes than you can shake a stick at. This makes it a little difficult for Redgaurd as they are generally the most desirable of all recipes but I do not know of a great thieving location in their territory. Thieving is generally the quickest way to get recipies as the typse of containers they drop from (backpack, desk, wardrobe, non-treasure chest, urn, nightstand, cabinet, etc.) are most common in towns.

So, if you are doing dungeons for housing recipes do ones with lots of the right kind of container and that are in zones of the race you like best (yea, I know it is redgaurd for everybody.)

Also, there is a cooldown of about 10 min for each recipe you find (you will not find another during that time.) The cooldown is per color though so you can find a green then blue right away but not a green than green.

Best of luck. I myself am searching for that elusive Redgaurd Armchair Starry one as well as Redgaurd lantern delicate.

are you sure there is a cooldown? I have the idea I have found several green ones just within 10 minutes.

Considering the headache you get when trying to sort books into a shelve (in-game :) ), this is a very desirable bp :)

Yes, sure, on greens at least there is and I suspect also on blues and purple. Cooldown is toon specific though so you could switch toons and get two greens in a row. I do not know the exact cooldown but it is at least 10min.

    What's your source for this?

edit: I believe I've pulled 2 green furnishing plans in under 10 minutes on the same character, but cannot at this time swear it was so. I will be watching more closely now however...
