Undaunted reward chest keys

I currently have 10 of these keys in my inventory because I am unsure what chest to open. Do the three Chests contain the same items and are they just shoulder or do the masks come from the chests too?

✭✭✭✭✭There are specific shoulder loot tables in each chest.
No helms ... just shoulders.

✭✭✭✭Only shoulders, and each chest contains shoulder pads of the dungeon of the quest giver.
If you hover the mouse on the chests you'll see they have the name of the NPC that gives pledges to that specific chest.
Example, Glirion gives Vaults of Madness pledge so you'll find Vaults of Madness shoulder pad (Grothdarr) inside Glirion's chest.
And the monster masks come from killing the last boss of the dungeons. Veteran dungeons have 100% chance drop, while masks in normal runs are not guaranteed.

I want to say there was some circumstance where you could get blue helmets at some point in the game's past. But, I can't remember the details.0 -

I've been burning thru a lot myself, never ceases to stun me. And also what I have to go thru to even get this game to download with the poor non existing customer service here by zenimax. Last time I had so much trouble it destroyed my drive and had to do a factory reset to make it work again.FOR LORD DAGON !!!!!!!!!!

✭There is an ingame note on one of the pilars supporting the undaunted tent that says the dungeons of each quest NPC, this will also tell you which chest will drop which monster piece (as long as you know the dungeon).0 -
Gatviper✭✭✭✭The system was slightly different about 2 and some, years ago. There have been Silver keys, rewarded from doing dungeons (before almost every dungeon now became the I and II versions, II being what used to be Vet dungeon mode) in Normal mode, and Gold keys, rewarded from doing Vet dungeons. Used to be only 2 quest giver NPCs too, one with missions for Normal, and one for Vet, and only 2 Silver and Gold chests.
Hence, you used to get shoulders in blue quality from Silver chest, and in purple from Gold. I've still got a few shoulders in blue from back then. Also, the Mercenary motif pages at first were dropping in chests like leaves in the Fall, before they adjusted them to be much more rare. But you had a small chance to get Mercenary pages from Silver chest, than from a Gold chest.Life is a ride, like days in a train, cities rush by, like ghosts in the night.

White-Gold Tower on Normal to get Molag Kena mask was the preferred method to get it then.
