Many of us know this set to be BIS for stamina pve dps. I see only a couple threads discussing this set. @Alcast swears this set is the go to for stam dps. I agree with this, with one tiny little problem. THIS SET DOES NOT WORK! Many of us know this, but the majority do not. I need this to gain attention because no one is talking about it and when it does get mentioned, no CM/Dev has commented or even acknowledged that this is a problem.

This set does NOT stack penetration as advertised. It is supposed to add 1k penetration, stacking up to 5 times. This set adds 1k penetration, and never stacks the other 4 times, making it 100% useless. With the changes to Major/Minor Force, TBS is now no longer BIS for stamina pve users. Our alternatives are honestly very slim, making the need for TFS to be fixed as soon as possible.

If nothing else, can we please get someone from the ZOS team to admit there is a problem and then give us an ETA on when this is going to be addressed? This set has been broken since it was revamped last year for the One Tamriel patch.

WE NEED PEOPLE TO BRING ATTENTION TO THIS BUG OR IT WILL NEVER BE FIXED!

Have you actually tested that with some screenshots for us?
When I tested Spriggan vs TFS they were ~the same dps on bosses TFS even a bit better.
This wouldn't be the case if I actually had 3k less pen instead of the intended 1k more.

If you refer to the addon that shows your penetration its most likely just a bug showing you the wrong value.

....I just made a set of this legendary....please tell me you tested it wrong and it does in fact work. On console, so no idea really.

Surely the simplest way to test is just use rapid strike or biting jabs on a single target? It worked for me last time I checked. Each time with bloodcraze increased in damage slightly.

I tested with light atacks and stacks 5 times and increases your dmg almost the same than major fracture. What is buged is the stacking with caltrops (and maybe other dots).

It works fine, but you dont need kragh if you use it with sharpened weapons, you will overpenetrate easy.

I'll have to double check, a couple weeks ago I believe it was still broken. To be honest I have not tested since the last maintenance, will do that next to be sure!

Then why make such a claim if you can't prove it?

I tested it on skeleton, and my dmg increased slightly 5 times. I was sure this was not hawk eye passive or enchant procs. I cannot say if the dmg are the same as 5k penetration, I only saw that I got a small damage increase 5 times then it stopped increasing.

Testing with bow will be skewed unless you do not have points in hawk eye passive..

I have just tested as well, the damage does increase VERY slightly 5 times, not sure if it equals 5k penetration unfortunately, we will just have to go on faith at this point until the penetration addon is "fixed" I suppose...

So I'll eat my words, I guess its not broken? The addon to track penetration is broken, not the set?

The damage is increased slightly x5, so assuming that is because the penetration is stacking, the set is working as intended. Sorry for confusion if any was had!
