Stuck between login and character select

I had some problems getting the new patch to install, it insisted files were in use. So I rebooted my computer and installed the Feb20 patch. It complained and I repaired (verifying all files). After that I could apply the patch and log in... but I can't get to character select. Been listening to the music for a good 20 minutes now.
Is there any bug report or log I can look at to figure out what is going on?

DSArmageddon_ESO✭✭✭I solved this by reinstalling the game to a new directory.
Not sure what happened before, I guess the patch went bad for some reason.5

liliub17_ESO✭✭✭✭I'm having an unspecified "Login Error", can't even get to character select. Tried Support as suggested, only found a series of things to try - as if it was suddenly my fault. Since nothing has changed on my computer with firewall/anti-virus permissions, etc, I'm guessing there is something awry with the patch itself.0 -
DSArmageddon_ESO✭✭✭I think I succeed at logging in, because I eventually got a "logged out due to inactivity" message even though I only ever saw the loading screen.0
