The barking from pet dogs should return

I don't understand why ZOS decided to "fix" this so-called bug when it's meant to be. Dogs bark and that's it.

ZOS I hope you're going to return the bark that was intended for canine pets.

You mean the one where it was literally non-stop barking that made my ears bleed? Yeah no thanks :D

I don't know if you played while this bug was active but every dog was barking constantly, literally non-stop. I know some dogs will do that for short periods, but it was really strange with them all doing it all the time.

But if they're not barking at all now that's probably another bug (or someone going too far trying to stop the previous one), they should bark occasionally, just not constantly.

Only if they also allow players to kill them to stop the constant irritating barking. I'd cheerfully pay the fine if I could get rid of the constant barking. That barking is why I don't want any of the dogs. I have the feline pets, but none of the dogs. The non-stop noise was too annoying.

Or, hey, new addition to the Justice system; allow players to call the guards to fine the pet owner players for the constant disturbing the peace in all the public areas, crafting stations, and the banks. The barking irritant stays for more than 2 minutes, the player is fined gold. The longer they stay, the higher the fine. Perfect gold sink. It can also be extended to other pets/summons that cause congestion and annoyance in the banks and crafting stations....

"Dogs bark and that's it." Yep, I've seen service dogs, seeing eye, assistance dogs, police dogs just barking non-stop in public, haven't you? No? Gosh. How strange. Even pets out for walkies don't bark non-stop.

How long do you have to think to come up with all the complaints and non-issues you post about?

Of course I played the game while this "bug" was active. I was actually about to go and purchase the Markarth dog in the crown store up until ZOS decided to ruin it for me by removing the bark sound from the pet. It was a sales pitch to me.

Also some dogs(IRL) are very vocal.

Our virtual non combat pets aren't service animals nor are they apart of the special guard elite K9 forces so you can't use that analogy.

Is it a joke? I mean, yeah, they made it, like a perfect surgeon, they cutted off the most annoying dogs' tongues. But how could they sew them back to those dogs?
One of the two of us definitely has gone mad. It only remains to define whether this one is the whole world or just me.

Missed the "Even pets out for walkies don't bark non-stop." But that's okay. You always skip the stuff you don't want to see in these threads.

I've had many, many pet dogs. None were service dogs. None of them barked constantly when out with me. Or even out in the yard without me. No non-stop barking in the car, no non-stop barking when I walked them. No non-stop barking period. PET dogs. But then, responsible pet owners don't allow their dogs to bark non-stop, since most people consider that to be unacceptable behavior.

You never had a Pomeranian then. Those things are annoying as hell. My friends dog use to annoy me to bits with the non stop barking.

I don't have small dogs because of my friends pomeranian. That dog ruined the possibility of me of ever having a small dog.... which most usually are yappers.

The fix also stopped a lot of other really annoying pet sounds that imo were a lot worse than dogs barking.

    NO!

I actually stopped using my black-and-white bear-dog because of its incessant obnoxious sounds. Now it's quieter and I can finally use it again. You still hear its scratching noises, but that's fine. Please don't ask them to make the dogs obnoxious again. Yegads, what the heck?

I had literally stopped using it because the noise was too irritating. Now I love it. Dogs are NOT naturally that noisy all ... the ... freaking ... time.
