I've heard rumors about 2 additional character slots coming with Morrowind. Any truth to these rumors? Would be nice to know if I need to delete a character, or not, to make a Warden.

To play a class , you either delete one of your characters or pay crowns . Good job zos . Hope one of those character slots will be free or comes with a discount .2 -

It will be tough with warden because there will only be two additional slots, so you if you already have 3 of the other classes you can only have 2 wardens maximum. So some sacrifices will have to be made....
ESO is the only MMO I have played that doesnt include a character slot with an expac that introduces a new class. Ive grown to realize ZoS is a greedy company. I think I will be deleting one of my 12 characters just on the principle that I dont want to give ZoS a single penny more than what I am already paying. Zos like have increased the cost of the expansion by $10-15 and added a character slot. If you think those other companies gave you a character slot free your fooling yourself.

Yup. If they included the slots for free, someone in marketing/finance would have to hold their breath until they increased the price of Morrowind by US$30.

Nope, I am not fooling myself.
WoW included a free character slot with the release of Pandaria and then another slot when they introduced Demon Hunters in Legion raising the limit to 12. And they didnt charge for those slots.
SWToR - when they released Fallen Empire you could start a new level 60 character that came with and included an additional character slot.
LoTR - when you purchased Mines of Moria expansion, you got not one, but two additional slots with your purchase.
Hmmm, still think ZoS is not being greedy charging for slots on top of paying for an expansion?

Unfortunately, not the case
With each and every expansion with a game that sold extra character slots you purchased the character slot was added to your the cost. To buy the expansion meant the player was forced to purchase the character slot. Forced regardless of need of desire for it. Obviously any game that didn't sell extra character slots could not add them any other way so that's not part of this discussion.
SWTOR didn't sell Fallen Empire but required players to be a sub to get accesss and to get the lvl 60 token. Subscription is not free and the entire idea of that expansion was to get more players to pony up for subscriptions instead of going for a one time expansion payment.
Either way you paid for those slots and kudos to their marketing team to make people believe they got it for free.0 -

As far as all of the level 25s... I have this thing where I hate to leave a character sitting at a level that isn't divisible by 5. A while back I did a bit of a push to get all of my lowest level characters to level 25 because it seemed like a nice number to be at (being half of 50 and all that - also getting to level 25 on all of them ensured I had enough skill points for their hirelings without impacting their playability). Since then, every now and then I'll take one of the level 25 characters and start focusing primarily on playing that character until that character is at level 50.

WoW included a free character slot with the release of Pandaria and then another slot when they introduced Demon Hunters in Legion raising the limit to 12. And they didnt charge for those slots.
SWToR - when they released Fallen Empire you could start a new level 60 character that came with and included an additional character slot.
LoTR - when you purchased Mines of Moria expansion, you got not one, but two additional slots with your purchase.
Hmmm, still think ZoS is not being greedy charging for slots on top of paying for an expansion?

Unfortunately, not the case
With each and every expansion with a game that sold extra character slots you purchased the character slot was added to your the cost. To buy the expansion meant the player was forced to purchase the character slot. Forced regardless of need of desire for it. Obviously any game that didn't sell extra character slots could not add them any other way so that's not part of this discussion.
SWTOR didn't sell Fallen Empire but required players to be a sub to get accesss and to get the lvl 60 token. Subscription is not free and the entire idea of that expansion was to get more players to pony up for subscriptions instead of going for a one time expansion payment.
Either way you paid for those slots and kudos to their marketing team to make people believe they got it for free.

I bought an expansion for all the games I mentioned and got a character slot included. There isnt any fancy marketing trick going on. I bought the expac and I got a character slot. Simple. Regardless if it was part of the cost, it still was included and I wasnt expected to pay extra. Cost is not a valid argument. Mines of Moria costs less than Morrowind, yet they still included 2 character slots with purchase.
But if I purchase Morrowwind, which is a full price expansion not a DLC, I do not get a character slot and am expected to pay. By your argument with the amount I am paying for Morrowwind, that should be part of the cost.

It will be tough with warden because there will only be two additional slots, so you if you already have 3 of the other classes you can only have 2 wardens maximum. So some sacrifices will have to be made....
ESO is the only MMO I have played that doesnt include a character slot with an expac that introduces a new class. Ive grown to realize ZoS is a greedy company. I think I will be deleting one of my 12 characters just on the principle that I dont want to give ZoS a single penny more than what I am already paying. I do not like that I am expected to pay an additional amount above the full price of the expac.

Zos like have increased the cost of the expansion by $10-15 and added a character slot. If you think those other companies gave you a character slot free your fooling yourself.
Besides, many do not need an extra character slot so it's wise to not charge them for something they don't need.
Really? Fooling myself? An expansion for Guild Wars 2 costs the same as Morrowind and I was given 2 free slots. Your logic is flawed.1 -

One of those wasn't free, it was one of the Deluxe Edition bonuses (like the horse and grey bear that come with Morrowind).
