    Same here
Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time

Oblivion did actually have Dreugh past level 15 in the overworld and the arena.

Interesting. I don't doubt it, though, since I think I finished the main quest and all side quests by like level 12. lol

Why is this even a question though? There are multiple NPCs in the game that say it to you, all pronouncing it the same way.

It's pronounced like "drag", e.g. Maj (one of the undaunted pledge givers) says it like that. Which is kinda funny, cause if you say it like a German word, it means "dirt". :)

It is pronounced correctly in-game a number of times as "dreg," with the same vowel sounds as in the word "egg."

    drew
    Its pronounces Drew.

A voiceover in (I think Oblivion) called one a 'drew'.

edit: hmmm, someone mention Morrowind with no voice over it was pronounced drew, but ESO does have NPC's that say Dreg... Interesting. Probably part of the Dragon Break.

    It is "Dreg".
ESO Live have done a few "Tamrielic Pronunciation" vids with Loremaster Lawrence Shick, so I went back and found this:

    (snip!)

Note: I apologize for my queuing of the vids.. Lol...

Thanks for linking those videos! I had never seen that first video & it was so funny!

I used to pronounce dreugh like "drew" but since playing ESO I now pronounce it "dreg" because that is how the npcs pronounce it in-game. :)

Because the way it is spelt is similar to Dutch/German with many vowels followed by silent or strange consonants. Like the words dough, rough, weigh, sleigh, etc...

I was very surprised that the "g" is pronounced at all.

    Dreugh.

Do yourselves a favor. Boot up Oblivion, and go to the Inn just east of Bravil, along the waterline, near Peryites shrine and talk to the Altmer there, ask for rumors. He has a hidden dev comment reguarding dreugh and he prounces it how it should be pronounced.

I pronounce it "Drayg" (rhymes with Greg), though that's probably what people meant with "dreg" (which to me, rhymes with red).

The one which tips my bucket helmet is "Sheogorath". I've heard it both ways: "Shay-o-gorath" or "She-ogarath" and I still don't know the proper way.
