Well first week on PC a lot of the furniture recipes were inflated. Now a week into it the prices are already skydiving. If I were you I'd buy a house perhaps a month into the patch and in the meantime just collect the recipes yourself or maybe even sell them.

DLC zones like Gold Coast and Orsinium don't have houses yet so I'm feeling that in the near future those areas will be getting houses so you might consider waiting and seeing.

ATM I don't feel any rush to get a house mainly because the utility functions such as the dummy, and crafting stations are really really expensive so there really is no point in getting a house right now other than just for social reasons.

I have some folks in my guild who are cool with me using their houses so that's why I'm doing at the moment.
