Haderus AP farming

Paul_DA
Paul_DA
More and more people are coming to Haderus every night flipping flags and roleplaying their way to Grand Overlord.
I did play PvP for 3 Years and felt so happy when I finally got Grand Overlord and now it makes me so mad that PvE players simply get that rank with roleplaying for 2 weeks in Bleakers.
Just today I saw an Overlord there who had over 5 Million AP on the 7day leaderboard... never seen that guy before.
There is absolutely no reason for this huge tick on outposts.
The zerg has always been between the outposts anyways...

Stuck in PvP ? Bring 10 friends to be OP!

I think OP is using the term roleplay in a belittling manner.

    Holdviola - Khira'de Regalo - Lélekvadász - Used To Be An Adventurer - Zetor - Does-Not-Give-A-Duck - Lord Sugar - Tenar Arha - Da'rinka - Violent Moon - Extreme Runner

The achievements and titles in ESO have been exploited since day 1 due to Zo$ incapability to make solid content and being blatantly incompetent when handling cheaters and exploiters in ESO - The actions, or mainly inactions, from Zo$ since launch only PROMOTE exploiting so tbh I don't see why you are surprised at this.
ESO has been twisted from enjoyment to box ticking for a lot of players, shame really.

Zenimax should monitor campaigns and if people are just flipping back and forth intentionally (which it is fairly obvious when they are), they should just ban those involved. Real simple.

This is really worthy of a ban?
What is the logic behind that?

It's exploiting a mechanic / feature of the game, which is bannable in the ToS.

They're not circumventing any mechanics to do so.
Switching campaigns is allowed and there is no rule against it.

Now, if they were bypassing some sort of cooldown, or jumping into campaigns they weren't part of...then we could talk about exploiting, this is not an exploit.

It's an exploit by use of other players to go into the empty campaign and they (from recordings that I have watched, literally leave the door open) and then just walk in and out repeatedly flipping the flag along other groups. Periodically randoms will repair the door or kill someone but more often than not, if they're left alone, the 'exploiters' as I will term them, will just stand in flags taking turns flipping them for the 6,000 AP.

    Oh gotcha.
    I guess I misunderstood.

What you're talking about here is definitely worthy of attention. My bad.

I really wish there was a game master available to report issues to that can be verified in game by an authoritative zos employee right there on the spot. but im assuming this is a large amount of resource that zos doesnt want to/cant allocate.

Idk guys. I understand that Emperor is supposed to be special. I understand Grand Overlord is supposed to be special. but just like some of the hardest Trials dungeons in the game - at the end of the day, it all gets on farm.

does that make what these players are doing right? no. but im sure if zos could do something right now, like right this instance, or even a few months ago - they wouldve.

I think too often ZOS gets treated like this jaded detached entity and maybe in some regards, they are, i mean people can only take so much and this player base has been its share of rude entitled and obnoxious - but the bottom line is ESO is ZOS' lively hood. If ESO were to tank, guys like Eric Wrobel and Matt Firor would probably have opportunities elsewhere in Zenimax Media, but the multitude of the other employees would be submitting resumes on Monster tm. So they care. Like trust me, they care. If something could be done, they wouldve done it already.

you know i watched, recorded and reported a well known pvper exploiting. I dont know if i had the sufficient proof because i never heard back about my case from ZOS, but to my understanding he still plays the game and EVERY SINGLE TIME he posts something on these forums, ya'll just gush all over his nuts like hes some demi god. like, instead of celebrating these CHEATERS you should be condemning them to the point where hte game is no longer fun and they quit. So i wouldnt blame wrobel, blame yourselves.
