~Crown Store Fans~

Aliasukjern
So i have just decided to add the subscription to my ESO account! ( Super psyked!) I really want to know why you (you specifically,*points at you*) decided to subscribe to the game, what you expected and how you feel about it now.
Please leave a reply with some of your thoughts on this

As for myself, i wont lie, there are some in game bonus that makes the game easier to play, for me at least. crafting bag mostly. I would probably still subscribe without the 10% bonus to this and that, ect. The biggest reason for me is that i think Zenimax has done a really good job with mostly everything about the game, to me ESO is now at present the best MMORPG that i know of. It is due to this fact that i want to subscribe. Yes i did pay to get the game, but i want this game to stay as good as it is, and i want it to get better. By subscribing monthly i can contribute to help ESO grow and keep getting better, and you should too. If you love the game like i do, give the subscription another go.

In the beginning when the game launched on console, it was for the 10% experience and 1500 crowns a month to fritter away. I've always viewed it as good value as the extra xp etc, isn't much money in relation to the cost of that amount of crowns. Now the crafting bag bonus with it is fantastic. It also hopefully supports the game and the employees, to keep them in work and keep ESO rolling on for years to come and it keeps getting better! I've never regretted paying for ESO+ Having double the items allocation for the housing makes it ever better value for money. I can't wait until tomorrow (PS4) for Homestead! Where I start to take full advantage of subscribing.

I played on PC before the console launch and I did sub on console. I did it for the loyalty rewards mostly and the 10% exp. I didn't care too much about crowns bc I would rather just wait for a crown sale and buy crowns if I wanted them rather than sub for them (I also hated the crown store and kinda still do).

I stopped subbing when they dumped the loyalty rewards and never looked back. 10% xp is nice but I don't play as often as I used to so its not as big of a deal anymore.
I don't always drink Skooma, but when I do I go to the Southwall Corner Club. May you walk on warm sands my friends.

You know what's funny? If you'd put up a thread saying subscribing is pointless and you can't believe anyone wastes money on it you'd probably have 2 pages of discussion on why it's worth doing by now.

I subscribed because I wanted to buy crowns anyway, and when you subscribe you get crowns. Also, for the 10% boost to gold you get in the game, and the crafting bag.

I also wanted to help support ESO because I like the game and want it to be around for a long time, and I can afford $15 a month. (I think it's $13 if you get the 6-month sub.)

I'm not sorry I subscribed, although I wish they still gave out the tiger as a loyalty reward for staying subbed for a year. It would make me want to stay subbed for a year or more if I knew I was getting a special mount or something for it.

I wouldn't say I'm a fan of the crown store, but I sub and use the crowns to but costumes and whatnot.

Hey better the crown store, where you know what you get, than the crown crates, right?

To be fair, I did buy one crown crate because i wanted that damn wizard hat... didn't get and never will then, because i won't be buying more crates... :/

    Craft Bag
Got the 6 month sub. Also like the 9000 crowns
But Craft Bag is well worth it for me.
ZoS is also going to add a few things to the sub to make it even better. Not sure what they are yet.

    Why I sub.

    For the crowns....

Why I don't sub more....ZOS can't figure out how to give me crowns on Xbox one and there's no 60,90 or 180 day discounted options

Why do I sub? There are several benefits that appeal sufficiently to me.

-Costume dyeing: a major draw for what I want from the game. Dye stamps don't offer the same flexibility.
-Homestead benefits: double the number of items in houses vs non-sub. This is a pleasant (recent) bonus.
-Craft bag: I managed well enough without it prior to subbing, but I can't deny it has had a huge impact.

I'm also looking forward to seeing how the subscriber benefits are realigned, as it appears they will be.

As for the Crown Store - I like it, but its is flawed. I dislike limited time availability and removal of items in general. But it has a place for those who want to use it.

Are you old enough to remember Bill Roper when he was working for Cryptic? Tying to sell the first subscription + full cash shop in an MMO and spinning so hard he was a blur.

The way he sang their praises it was as if micro-transactions could cure cancer.

You're not against curing cancer are you? For shame...
